LBC the second?

[Legendary Black Cat]

Ok, I've seen ALOT of "Legendary Black Cat's" walking around, now that Black Cats came out again. Since there are so many, I've had many ask me if I've made another toon named LBC. Here's the thing. No, I haven't. I have ONE toon named Legendary Black Cat, and that toon is maxed at 119 laffpoints, and I don't have a cat named "Legendary Black Cat" any lower than that laff. In fact, I do not have ANY toons that contain the word "Legendary", or "Cat" besides for LBC. My three Black Cat toons are: Legendary Black Cat(119), Back in Black(27), and Master of the Bats(16). Now, as far as these people actually taking my name and using it for their toons... No, I don't appreciate that. The main thing is, these people aren't telling me they're doing it, or asking me if they can do it. It's just rude to steal someone's name. However, I'm not going to get much into that, because I can't do anything about it. You "name stealers" know who you are, and if you really wanted to be right, you would use your own imagination to choose names... Not someone else's..

I agree LBC. As I posted on another thread, how many of the uncreative individuals are going to enjoy playing their copycat once the "joke" wears off?

I have seen one Moonshadow, and friends have seen another named Moon Shadow. Since there was a song called that pretty famous by Cat Stevens, I can't say it is necessarily as unique as Legendary Black Cat, but, ummm, if it was such an obvious choice for a black cat's name I wouldn't have been the only (black cat) Moon ANYTHING the first time black cat's came out... Anyway, I thought it was pretty funny that the friend I was with last night put a thought bubble above her head that said "Thief!" and left it there through the first room of the factory. Perhaps that is what I will do now, too. Anytime I see a copycat, I will just put a thought bubble above my head so my secret friends can laugh too.

Have fun, remember, it's pretty likely that by the time these copycats reach 119, the originals will be well past that!

Did it ever occure to you that Smoebody else may have thought that up? What if they think YOU stole it? I thought up the name ''Mr. Popo'' but afterwards, I see a toon named ''Popo''. I'm not going to complain, because obviously, we both thought it up.

I agree LBC! It is your name and does not give people the right to copy it. I didn't. My black cat's name is Midnight. I'm sure other people can create names rather than steal yours.

Yes it did, but they didn't! I had the name "Legendary Black Cat" a year ago! And since then, I was the ONLY Black Cat to have the name "Legendary Black Cat". You can ask ANYONE, my name was made up by ME. No one else, and if someone else DID come up with it, they would have named their Black Cat that a YEAR ago!!

Wow. You will never believe what I just saw. A toon with the same name as my cat in the sellbot pit, with only a slight variation on the spelling.

I guess it is my own fault for making my cat's name public before it was too late to make a copycat.

Seems there are MANY people that can not think of a new name/toon look and will take someone elses to in order to make them appear to be better players.

How sad that anyone would take anothers name/look and try to ride on the name the first toon made.

Well I think this should be down to Disney to stop, in fact they could prevent it by not allowing any unique names to be copied. It seems to me if youve spent time thinking of a name, gone through the DSFS (Disney Stupid Filter System) to ge your toon registered. It should be yours.

Yes poele can try variations, but thats not quite the same as having the exact name.

Its not fair for someone to be able to take a name, just cos they saw it on TT and thought it was good. Disney has a make-a-toon list of names for people who cant be bothered to think for themselves.

For people who do and have they should be protected, we pay our sub, so our unique name should be protected.
