How soon does Disney accept custom name requests?

On Halloween, given that there will be a record number of people creating black cats, does support have people on overnight to accept (or *ulp* reject) custom name requests?

It sure would be great to learn one's fate sooner than later instead of running around half the night as "Bright Red Cat"

Or do the results start showing up in the AM during regular business hours?

or do what i did

start the toontorial and when it gets to the part where the guy tells you to press the arrow keys to move

alt f4 out, and if your name gets rejected, rename it and do it again

thats what i did and i have 2 toons that all i have to do is finish the toontorial

My friend and I will be on at 3am eastern to start the gauntlet with our new cats. Once the "psst" and red popup shows in Toontown, we will log out and start our cats. They will be truly born on Halloween.

Anyone who has done a black cat in the night pacific time on previous Halloweens may know the answer we are looking for

The first year that black cats were available, my twin(ish) toons on Test and Open were accepted that day. Once you submit the name, do the Toontorial and basics in TTC, like getting JBs, swapping codes with friends, etc. Then log out all the way and back in - sometimes the name is there that quickly. Sometimes you have to wait a little through the day, it really seems to depend on who is checking names. Honestly not sure if they actually have more people dealing with names for Halloween. Good luck getting the name you want.

Make sure if it gets rejected, that you keep submitting it.

Honestly, I hope they DON'T approve mine that day. I wouldn't want anyone to see it, realize its total coolness and use it.

Oh I don't plan to have any other name. That name is my black cat's destiny!

Whether anyone else thinks it's cool it questionable. At best they'll find it amusing.

So... when you're waiting to be accepted does it say Black Cat in the name or Green Cat etc?

Says the Color and Species just like any named toons has.... I usually use a cat to make sure I like the look (Short / Tall / Fat / Skinny) before creating the toon... But I have heard that all toons will convert into a black cat when the phrase is used so you could walk around as Blue Dog

You won't be named Black Cat, even though you will be black. You will be whatever color you were when you made the toon. It is hilarious. You will see tons of black cats walking around named Purple Cat, Yellow Cat, etc. Although I don't remember how long Midnite Purr's name took to get passed, a friend of mine said she saw me on halloween and friended me because she liked the name Midnite Purr....so I guess I was approved in a few hours.

You heard wrong. In order to make a black cat, it must be a cat toon.
