Post I'm a ratfink! A public apology.

I HATE it when toons call Bingo when I leave to sell fish, so I'm always VERY careful to look at the names and be sure every toon is at their dock. However, that's not fail safe. Like if there's 2 seconds left I just call it before time runs out.

Last night I was fishing my last bucket in DDL and we filled the three way card in. I checked the names, everyone pointed to the dock, I called BINGO! I went to turn in my fish, and as I turned around I noticed the little purple bunny ariel was AT her dock, but not on it or fishing. I apologized there and she took my apology very graciously, but I also wanted to apologize here. Sorry about that!! It was an honest mistake, I didn't mean to seem so thoughtless!

And a note to ALL Bingo! players out there, at a pond ALL toons get the Bingo! win, not just the one who calls it, so unless there's 2 seconds left on the time, please check and be sure we're all there and ready for the Bingo! before calling it. If someone's selling their fish call out "Hurry!" and/or "We did it!" so they know to hurry back and get the win also. It's just very frustrating to fish all day earning jellybeans and to work up so close tot he end of a Bingo! and to have it turned in and miss out on those beans even though your toon put in a good many of the ones needed for it.

Remember, without the other toons you wouldn't get as many Bingo!s.

How sweet!
Infact, I think this is a great thing for all Bingo! players out there to read, and I hope they do - don't call Bingo! until everyone is on the dock, so EVERYONE who got it may have the bingo!. I'm sure the little rabbit ariel knew you just made a mistake, and forgives you.

I don't get to play Bingo! very often, so I never really considered it. What you are saying makes sense. I will make sure everyone is at their docks before calling Bingo!. Thanks for pointing it out.

This is probably the first thread I've ever said "STICKY" to. This very much deserves a Sticky. Mods?

I'd like to emphasize this point and add what should be obvious: It doesnt matter WHO calls the Bingo.

Last Wednesday there was a black cat who would give up his dock and insist I take it everytime mine was stolen. So, before he left I friended him and later sent him some gifts. Then last night after I logged on, he TP'd and we began the hunt for the elusive Full Moon once again. Another friend had also come to fish with me and everything was going great- lots of Bingo's.

I know how much my daughter likes to be the one to call Bingo, so for the sake of any kids present, I usually let others at the pond hit the Bingo button, even when I'm the one who finds the last fish. So, the black cat was calling them all. At one point my friend took note of that and decided to call a few. The cat didn't like that and stunk him several times. My friend, now amused by the cats display of immaturity, began calling them all and the cat would, of course, stink him each time. Let me tell you, there was SO much competition to get the last fish and call the Bingo that I won my first Blackout ever last night!!! Woo hoo!

But anyway, having had enough of my frined calling all of the Bingo's, the cat finally asked me to go fishing at his house (where my friend wouldnt be able to follow), and when I declined he promtly stunk me, too, AND left my friends list. LOL

Again, while it might be fun to call it, it doesnt really matter who does since EVERYONE at the dock gets the Bingo.

Good luck and have fun!
