Wednesday Boss Battle Runs

Hmmmm. Where do I start? In a land far far away.... ok cut the chase Shell!!

On this evening's ATTA run to the VP I came on my baby toon Dark Magic (Two Face, maxed in sound, throw and squirt and only 40 laff) to find lots of toons there. We eventually boarded the elevator to find that poor little dark magic got "DUMPED" by the people there. Luckily some of the more experienced ATTA members came to his rescue. You see if you had bothered to check out his gags not just his laff you will have seen that he was quite capable of dancing at the end. Whether or not those particular toons were randoms I couldn't say.

Anyway this is who I was with:-

You see the moral of the story is that although somebody's suit is low or the laff is low does not necessarily mean that they are in experienced player. Don't go judging a book by its cover.

That's funny, to tell you the truth, I didn't even look at your laff or gags. I just figured board the elevator & don't shuffle. I am sorry that you were 'dumped'. I had a great time & look forward to playing with your little toon again.

I'm sorry if you are referring to me - I would never refuse to board with you. I know you and how well you play!

I hung back to help the 5 toons left ... of course, they then refused to stay on the elevator with only 6 of us on there - even with my constant chattering of "Stay." I got fed up with the on and off again elevator shuffling and, ultimately, chose to sit this particular VP out. Based on the shuffling, I assume that the majority of those left standing in the lobby were randoms (although Margaret and I had just CFO'd with one or two of them).

If only I had jumped on when Zia did ... would have saved the hassle So much for trying to be nice!

Yikes, no I wasn't referring to you hun as you didn't even board the elevator it was the glad handler suits I was referring to. I knew that some of us would have had to stay behind to make the load equal.

The thing that annoyed me the most was the fact that I was getting whispers from some of the toons saying YIKES, I think is too risky for you. Unfortunately I didn't take any screen shots and can't remember the names of the toons which did it. I just needed to vent.

I know you were trying to be nice by giving your spot to the other low laffers sweety, I just noticed that they jumped off and I knew there is no way they can board again unless all those toons inside the ele go out again, so which leaves the two of us to board without hassles but unfortunately for you sweety, you run out of time .Love ya girl!!!Can't wait to play with you again.Muahugs a lot!!!

There was a bunch of nonsense going on. There were two toons that I didn't recognize at the CFO, then they came to the VP. I think we picked up some randoms, but I can't be sure. They just wouldn't get on a short load, even with 2 100+ toons with them. Sigh. I wish all toons would learn to chill. I am so bad at checking laff and gags, I didn't even realize Dark Magic was little until we were fighting.

But - there were three loads that went, and could have been 4. Not too shabby for a Wednesday afternoon!

I had a blast. I think I have screen prints, but on the other computer. I'll look for them later.

Phew! I just wanted to make sure that I didn't do wrong. I don't mind being left behind, but I always feel bad if others are (especially ATTA members). I tend to hang back to see what's going on. On this run, I had no idea who was and who wasn't ATTA and whether or not the new names might be having their first run with us, so I didn't want to disappoint anyone by leaving them out.

Had I known what some were whispering to Shell, I would have jumped on that first elevator in a flash! The comments given to her were not in the ATTA spirit! Is Spring Break over yet?

Other than that, today's runs were a blast! We had a successful CFO and CEO. I do have screenshots from both, and I'll see about reporting them tomorrow if no one else has.

I read all of these posts and am still a little confused by something. Shell, were these randoms that were whispering to you or ATTA members? (which I doubt and am hoping not)!

I didn't recognise them but when Tim was there on Monkey they were doing it to him too, that is why he changed to ducky. But by reading the threads above they joined on CFO earlier, so I'm not sure.

Hmmm...okay, well I am going to assume that they were randoms because I don't want to think that any of our members would do that...I know that one of the reasons that Tim & I made our monkey ubers was because we knew ATTA members had our backs. Even if we go sad at least we will know it isn't because of lack of trying and we know we won't be "stinked"....unless it's a thug run of course...oh, I just remembered I think I was volunteered for the next thug run..I guess I better start looking into that! Suggestions welcomed.

I was one of the ones to CFO and I was under the impression that they were randoms the entire time. When I got to our meeting place they were already there. Maybe they had landed and saw a few of us? There were 3 there that I knew were ATTAers, me, and then the random two. Since we were only 6 we all agreed to go in. One of them said, "I need to defeats some sellbots." when we were dancing. Then "Let's go fight the VP!" was thrown out sometime later. I'm so sorry that happened to Dark Magic! I would've been there but I needed to get my options for the CEO that was after.

Margaret, thanks for reminding me of time changes - it was somewhere in my head but I then forgot all about it - will change front page now

I am hoping to be at the boss runs tonight, though I may be a little late due to some RL stuff, fingers x it wont overrun - if I am not there at 8pm GMT I will see you at the VP after!

I hope that after reading the posts from last week we do not have any of this nonsense going on tonight - and I am hoping that it was just randoms who were doing this. We are all here to get together, have a good old laugh and have some fun

There is always room for another toon! There are usually a couple of folks willing to run if we are too short for an elevator. Come, chat, giggle, and spend the afternoon (or evening depending on where you are) with friends!
