I feel similar to Mildew here on the split. My stomping skills are always in need of practice and when those red goons come out my blood pressure goes up.

I also like the IRC chat idea as well. That way everyone knows what group they would be in. Maybe once we are all in the doors before running up to the stairs we sort of divide ourselves up. Maybe similar to the way a ccg training run is done? Not sure if we will ever have that many toons but it looks like this could grow in the numbers.

Cool Peppy started this thread... I think its a great idea on how we may all be able to communicate without deleting friends from our lists. I added a yahoo name with my toons name ... and I've been adding other A.T.T.A 'ers with yahoo or msn to my buddy list..here's the thread if you haven't seen it yet...

We just completed the CJ run. The instant messaging worked very efficiently in my opinion. The only problem I had was, I was having difficulty looking at two computers simultaneously. Otherwise, it was an effective tool to relay information.

We were the first group who went in for the 7PM PST CFO battle. It was fierce, amazing, and unbelievable. There were only 5 of us, but we made it!!! What an awesome ride it was. At the end of the battle, all of us were running low on our laff. Thank you to the members of my group, Super Nutty Paddlepocket, Captain Peanut Picklehopper, Salty, and McBee. You guys are all wonderful.

We had two lureless sided alone and they came through great. Nice teamwork. Crane round was a bit scary. Okay, a lot scary. Haha. I personally felt we needed a couple more on goons instead of crane. I kept getting gooned off and I felt I had nobody watching my area for goons. It would probably have been a lot faster and less painful with two good craners on crane and the rest on goons. We made it and had fun though, thats what counts! Was fun!

I find myself in need of some good ol' fun. Between my house construction, my job, my teenager, and the forum -- there is way too much noise buzzing in my head.

What better way to clear it up than with laughter! I propose the first A.T.T.A Thug Run.

What day/times work for you folks this weekend. I was thinking maybe Saturday at 5 ET (2 PT, 10 GMT).

I agree with you on the part on not needing 4 total craners. I also feel that in any CFO, regardless if with friends, as a group, or with randoms, should that elevator be short in toons, I feel that the best strategy for a win is to have more stompers available for the more experienced craners, unless there is one person in the group that is awesome at stomping, then by all means have only one stomping and 4 craners.

In a group of 5, should there be 4 craners (2 very experienced and 2 still learning) and 1 stomper that is ok but not fully experienced; this scenario can be very difficult because that means each craner will probably have to take care of their own goons, making the battle itself last longer than had there been 2 experienced craners and 3 stompers. When craners are in short supply, it is best to block off one side of the doors to the CFO with a safe and just manage the CFO from the other side with the 2 remaining cranes.

I can try and be there at that time, but usually anytime during the afternoon for me is bad. Lets see if others are interested and maybe we can set a time that works for the majority.

I love it! Sounds good to me! I shall be there with bells on. Will this be a VP followed by a CFO or the other way round?

I can't wait to see what you decide for our gag choices for this first thug run. I propose we create a thread especially for this wonderful idea so we can keep an easy track of it and not get it lost in this thread.

What exactly is a Thug Run? I've seen posts about them, but I have never been to one (or really read what they are about even).
