If you don't believe me then just asked someone on TEST! Since TEST has very few people on at times you usually only have 6 at most for most vp's and cfo's. Seldom do people go sad and there usually isn't any fighting. Also, anyone again repeating anyone is welcome to VP or CFO on test. No matter what laff or gags they have. It's called teamwork!
Amen to that!! On test this weekend, friends and I were doing vps and cfos with our little baby toons... short changes and cold callers galore!
And GUESS WHAT? No one went sad... we won every time... because we work together.
Nuff said!

Yeah, and ever notice 80 laff Cold Callers? Either they don't do many Facs, Or They die in Each VP cuz of those NOOBS. I know, but maybe you could be a little less harsh and decide who they REALLY are. You see the as a Cold Caller, but they could be on the Top Toons for most VPs/CFOs Defeated! That's why I think there should be like 2 Boss Cogs in Each cog HQ, One for us Above 60, and One for those Below. So think a minute. Are those REALLY the People You Should ditch? Maybe they are. Maybe not. But just Think a minute. You could be there Hero helping them to become the Hollywood they always Dreamed about.

Another thing to remember. Just because there is a person there that is 55 laffer and in a cold caller suit doesn't mean they are a noob. For all you know they could have 1 or more Max Holly suits on other toons.

Like a couple others have saids....if you play right it is always possible. It was on test that I really learned how little a group of toons can be and still pull it off. And yes you might die every once in awhile. But really what do you lose? I've heard in the old days you lost your merits. Well the most you have to lose now are some gags and Laff which can be easily replaced.

Cfo

Funny, I was thinking about this recently. Personally, I have a harder time getting into CFO than VP. I am now a Mingler 11, but never had the problems at VP getting in when I was a CC like I am getting in as a SC at CFO. I do know that if you try to go with friends that are all a low level suit as well, it can be hard to get in. I found it easy to get in VP if I went without my friends who were at the same level. I am 100lp, no trap, all maxxed gags except drop. Granted, there are alot more toons trying to VP when I go there now, but I still have more success getting in and winning. I think CFO requires much more teamwork for success. Of course, my opinion is based on limited experience there, but the last time I went sad in CFO, it seemed like I was stomping goons forever. It lasted so long that I was actually getting tired of trying. The one win I experienced was relatively quick, and I think it was just better teamwork and some good crane operators. It seems there is more strategy needed in CFO, and maybe that is why I am having a harder time getting in there. I think the higher suit toons there are more hesitant to go in with lower suit toons because of the teamwork and experience issue.

Before going in CFO, I read advice on the forum here. Seems there are a few different strategies. I have tried to stomp around one crane and protect that operator; however, the last time I went in I was chastised for staying in one area. I thought the idea was to protect the one operator (assuming 8 toons remained) by stomping, or to step in front of the beam and take the hit if I couldn't stomp in time. The stompers were running around all over the place and operators were getting hit a lot.

Oh well, I guess everyone has different experiences in this regard. Mine has been that it is easier to get into VP.

Now that I'm a Mingler, if at least one or two other players in the elevator have a decently high suit, I don't encounter shuffle much.

I absolutely refuse to jump, once on, and the Cold Callers for the most part seem willing to give anything a try once they have a chance to stay on the elevator.

You'll notice once you get a higher suit there's less and less shuffle I think. To get to the higher suit WITHOUT shuffle, use the Cold Caller's Guild.

For me, it takes so many darn merits to get into VP now, I'd rather play several times and loose a few times just for the fun of it. It's good practice and gives Cold Callers a chance.

Now....just 2,400 more merits and I can go in again.

That was REALLY long ago. I said I was an RB 28 back then. Lol now im a 41.
And guys, ya know the glitch where you hover in the air with your book open? Does that prevent the goons from attacking you if you are high enough? I have had times when I had to brb during a CFO and I had to either quit out or really move fast. I know this doesnt stop his gear throw and what happens if he throws gears when you are like that? I assume it cancells out of the book and hits you. I dont want to try it because then I am diminishing the teams effort and I love to win against the CFO.

I really don't care about the suit levels. The only rule I have is a 3 strikes and your out rule.

After I enter the elevator 3 times if we don't go I leave. I don't do the shuffling and I don't jump so I expect other to be the same. I know many a toon while I'm walking out whisper "No!" but I think it does teach them to be a little more trusting.

PS - I have never tried the book thing in the CFO when I get home tonight I will CFO both toons and pop the book open on the toon that is "hiding" behind my craner. LOL it truly isn't hiding since I use it to protect my craning toon!

I 100% DISSAGREE with you. In test I believe I use to be 56. Well I ended up going into VP with almost all tons who were under 70. Only 2 were high laffers and you know what? We WON. Really you shouldn't just judge small toons like that because it's the person that's int he toon that matters, and not the laff.

You never know

Isn't it kind of hard to compare a run in test to one in open? I don't know because I am not on test, but my guess is that a higher percentage of toons in test have more cog fighting and vp experience. If that is the case, it is not surprising that a group of experienced lower lp toons could win in vp. In open, if you have a group like that, it would seem there is a greater chance that some, if not many, would have less vp experience.

Hmmm Ok but basically what I am saying is that sometimes that vp elavator in the crowded district gets SO crowded so I have to give up.
