HW merits question

To the maxed HWs or other experienced toons, how much work is getting the 5500 merits or all the other merits levels (3400 for MNG -> HW promo, merits leading up to 5500, etc.) I'm a Mover & Shaker and I would like to know what I'm in for.

Playing Aid - Total Merit Requirements

Here is a chart showing all merit requirements. Fields indicate requirements per level, per suit, and total cumulative. All runs were calculated using 194 merits (full run) as the base; any portion of a run was rounded up. The chart can be printed off and works well as a 2-sided single sheet. The project was created in Excel then converted to a Word document.

If you have any questions, please feel free to send me a message via email.

Good luck and have fun in TT!!!

Since you are a Mover & Shaker you have oribably just done the 800 merits required for a Glad Hander level 8. If you wanna know how hard the 3400 is, just imagine doing that 800 Four and a Quarter times. Now if you wanna know how hard the 5500 is, imagine doing that 800 merits 7 times!!! And then you'll be done with it all!! So as you can see its a hard task and youre in for quite a ride in Sell HQ. Good Luck!

Since you are a Mover & Shaker you have probably just done the 800 merits required for a Glad Hander level 8. If you wanna know how hard the 3400 merits is, just imagine yourself doing that 800 merits about 4 and ¼ times. Now if you wanna know how hard the 5500 is, imagine yourself doing that 800 merits about 7 times!!! And then you'll be done with it all!! So as you can see its a hard task and youre in for quite a ride in Sell HQ. Good Luck!

I would not say that getting the merits is hard, but it does take persistence. It took me about 2 days to get the 3400 to advance from Mingler to Hollywood.

Sellbot buildings are the best sources of merits. The 5-story ones in Dreamland can get you between 200 and 300 merits. They are, however, as all experienced merit runners know, extremely difficult to find. Lower level ones are sometimes equal to or a little bit more than factory runs, also. But again, you have to spend a lot of time searching for them.

The most efficient way time-wise is to use the factory. Although you only get 194 merits for a full run, at least you don't have to spend time looking for it. If you have friends going with you, you can run the factory twice before you have to regag.

Good luck!

Actually, if you use the Lava Room (and sometimes, I just can't do it myself!), you can regag in there...it does give sound, cause that's where I always get my ele's back from the previous run...but when ya get to Foghorn, does it regag that as well?? The Lava Room also has toon-ups, other gags(?), and Jelly Beans! It's difficult to do if not everyone wants to go in, or is willing to wait...then sometimes impatient toons will go ahead and get the next set of cogs themselves! hmph. I like the Lava Room myself, and try to use it...I've done like at least 4 runs in a row just running back into the fac

I think it is absolutely terrible! I like to v.p. but the reason I rarely do it is the merits. I need 5500 right now *mutters to self* I've needed them for the past 3 months.

well thats an opinion.....and if u get 200 or 300 merits...then its kinda like a facotry...lvl 5 buildings take longer then factories and might me the slowest way.....if u wanna know how long it takes to get meirts just do the math

there is 198 merits per fac so if u do the whole factory it takes 28 factory runs and if u just do front entrance gear room and warehouse to the silos it takes 44 factories....well they are pretty easy because it only takes 2 or 3 toons lol....pp just make it seam hard because it boring lol

I'm a Mingler 8, and I do about two factory runs a night. Otherwise I have to finish my DDL task of five 5-story buildings, which I'm putting off.

Those factory runs are getting sooooo boring.
