Changes to VP

has anyone else seen the VP facing backwards and spraying gears in the back as well as the front. I had two VPs today where this happened. also:

some cogs didn't get knockback bonus.
at some occasions I was getting yellow splats in the back and could push the VP back from the rear.
the VP's door would open and close rapidly at some points.
The second platform has a mirror finish

i know ive seen alot of cogs dont knockback things during vp runs and i think everything else is new because ive never seen those happen.

Haven't VP'd since last night update but I have seen -

some cogs didn't get knockback bonus.

I actually throw pies at the vp from the back after throwing one in the undercarriage. So it has been possible for a while (if not always) to hit him with a pie shot from the back.

As for the door opening and closing...well, I have seen this happen before but usually when TT is having issues. Did you experience major lagging or anything?

If you look at the picture he is spraying gears while facing backwards. They would hit you for -3 if you didn't move. I've never had it where you got a yellow splat when the VP is hit in the rear after stunning. The toon I was with wasn't able to push back from the front so I tried the rear and it worked. I was actually afraid at first he'd move in the wrong direction.
I also have seen no Knockback bonus, but not for several months. It may have to do with more toons being in the busiest district today causing lag.

when you mean "knock back bonuses" do you mean a successive lured hit??

He means the 50% boost you get from lure sometimes.

Yes, the VP can get REALLY buggy when you have 1000+ in a district. Also, consider that you are using a NEW TT release that wasn't test by that many toons in one district!

Yes!!! We just did 2 VPs and noticed many strange things. One cog (lv 10) did not get lure bonus. When VP was stunned but facing backwards I could not push it back even though saw yellow splats. Last platform with mirror finish is plain freaky! Also, I think gears are reaching further now. Wonder if it's a bug or a revamped VP.

I have tried it 5 times now since it was released and noticed the same exact things.

1st, on most cogs we got the lure bonus usually given to all cogs in the VP or CFO. However I noticed at least once there was no lure bonus given.

2nd, The VP spun gears in both directions, whichever direction he was facing. Also...it appears you can only pie him from that side while he is turned. Meaning if I'm behind the VP and he faces me then I stun him, he has to be hit from behind to be pushed down the ramp. Has anyone else noticed this? I also believe there is a bug that occasionally causes damages on both sides from the gears he tosses. I normally stand in front of the left rear track and stun him, atleast once I took -3 damage when he threw gears the other direction.

3rd, I lost at least 30laff looking at the new shiny glass top on the bottom platform, beware it is hypnotizing to look at. I think the sun was in my eyes!!!
