Shorter run, more merits

ok, I've calcauated that if you took the long run, you will get 194 merits, and 18 minutes of playing factory. But, as for short, you will get 120 merits, but in 7 minutes of playing factory. So, that means, you will get another 120 merits and can make long run, so, you will get 270 merits in long way, in by using short runs. I'm n00b helper, because I take them to short runs, they get their suit easily. I admit, I don't like taking 100+ laffers with me. They like only long way, and that's it. (I said, Most 100+ laffers like to do that) Well, as for high-needed-merits toon, I hope you will find this advice helpful.
