A month of vps got me this...
Doing around 230 vps last month I got
this for SOS http://img228.**************/my.php?image=sos2uq.jpg So, you think it was worth it? And also.. anybody who solod the vp.. you think I can get though it just on sos? Because I don't really want to cfo, and save up the unites. But if I have to, to solo I will. -Lgz |

That should be more than enough for a VP solo. I would suggest you have at least a couple of 80 or more tow. My reason being that some people report Drop SOS’s missing. My experience has been they only missed when all four cogs are lured, but others have seen misses with unlured cogs. Lets say your at 70 laff, and you think your laff is safe. You plan to use a Bessie followed by a lure SOS. If the drop misses you could be toast. I would try to use conventional gags during the cog round to save the SOS’s for the skelecog round. Leave 3 little cogs and work on 1 big cog at a time. Of course if you have a few TOW you could use your Moe Zart’s for the first round. I used the Bessie’s with a sequence as follows:
11-11-11-12 Drop with Bessie 12-11-11-(damaged 12) Lure SOS Hit damaged 12 with small pie. 10(unlured)-12-11-11 Bessie, leaving another damaged 12, repeat again I had some bad misses with four lured cogs using drop SOS before this, so I will never use a drop SOS unless 1 is unlured. The poster saying TOW is better than SOS is plain wrong, TOW can only give you restocks and TU. Lure SOS’s can negate the real time benefit giving turns to use TU and restock. SOS’s also can be attack gags, while TOW are not. Good Luck |

info to me. I'm new to soloing thing so I wasn't sure when to use what sos. So I appricaite your help. I'll use the method you showed me, and do some cfos too. Does any know how often you get toon up unites? Because I didn't cfo in a month and a half... and did 3 the other day and got all jelly beans. So I forgot about the rareness of unites. Thank you everyone for helping me out. I think I will try the solo sometime this week or next week. -Lgz |

other tips

Some other recommendations is to save a low level COG at the end of the COG round and repeatly call your doddle to help with TU especially if your doodle is well trained. Personally, I love any drop card and would recommend using them when 3 of the 4 COGS/SKEL are lured because the 3 lured COGS/SKELS will remained lured and I think the chance to hit increases with at least 1 COG/SKEL unlured. I agree with Doc's recommendation about having a couple of TU TOW available. I, personally, would recommend at least a combination of 8 of the 80 laff or max TU TOW. But I tend not to use SOS cards effectively and brute force my way through. In addition, the TU TOW could be used during the VP PIE Fight if things aren't going well. You don't want to get through the COG/SKEL rounds (using alot of SOS/TOW) just to lose in the VP PIE Fight near the end when you need just a few more laff to get the VP over the edge. Good luck on your upcoming attempt and post how you did. I'm looking forward to hear how it went. |
