I have taken a fifteen laffer on a bullion mint with these one hundred ninetines. I came while one of the one hundred ninetines was waiting for the other. Then a fifteen laffer wandered around and found us. Then the other one hundred ninetine came.

I usually go with two friends in the bullion mint and if lure works we do not take any hit. That means, we could take a 15 laff toon with us into any battle. Or, the 15 laff toon could join the battle after the initial lure works. While just missing maybe a few cogs that are killed in the same round as lure is beeing used, he will still be sure to survive the entire mint.
It works like this: 2 of us have maxxed lure and maxxed piano, while one has maxxed trap. All have maxxed sound, throw and squirt. On every set of toons we tag a level 10 cog to get it to the right. One picks lure, one traps a level 11 and the third makes sure the trapped cog is killed with either piano (works with quicksand and trap door) or with cake (only trap door). That leaves 3 lured cogs. One throws a cake at the right cog, killing him, the other 2 use a cloud and a fire hose on a level 10. The one remaining cog can be taken out with blueberry pies (level 10) or cream pies (level 11). If the cogs are all level 11 we can use 3 foghorns. The supervisor group is eliminated with TNT on supervisor, followed by a pie plus lure. The remaining 3 cog will be "fogged". |

I was on a "random" run in the Dollar Mint just a couple nights ago (maybe it was last night; I don't remember hehe) and there was a 36LP toon in our group. Not an "uber" either, but was above average in gag strength (a semi-uber? uber-in-training? I don't know).
Anyway, the run went fine, except for a missed goggles lure on four 11's, and the toon went sad. If that didn't happen the toon may have made it through. With that low of laughs, it's a risk based upon if the others on the team can play in a way to increase the odds of all making it and the luck of the draw on misses and what the cogs do then as damage. Cheers, Martek

A friend and I needed just a few more bucks in order to CFO, so we went to a quiet district to do a coin mint just the two of us. There was a 19 laffer there with no gags at all. He jumped in with us, we didn't figure he would make it through the mazes, but we weren't worried about him slowing us down much, since he didn't have gags.
He stood there and passed in every battle, didn't get gags in any barrels, and danced with us at the super. Next thing we know, we are at the CFO doors waiting for our other 2 friends so we could CFO and the 19 laffer tp's to us and says "Let's play again, I have enough gags!" Sure enough, this time he had gags (albeit only level 2 squirt and throw...)!
