Tip One: Finding a Good Pair of Toons

The most important part of CFOing is finding a good pair of toons. If you go and get some toons that don't know what they are doing, you could have them throwing safes and dying all the time! So make sure they are at least 100 laff points and are at least a Penny Pincher, just to be safe. The next time you go CFOing, get a good pair of toons!

Tip Two: Finding A Crane

If you are even going to start practicing Craning, you need to grab a crane before anyone else, or at least ask them to let you use it. If you have a secret friend in with you, you can ask them to let you on.

Tip Three: Getting a Guard

When you crane, you need to throw disabled goons at the CFO, right? Right. But how do you disable the goons while you are using the crane? That's what guards are for. This is the safest way to do a CFO is have guards stay in one place and disable the goons, not move everywhere and disable them.

Tip Four: Craning Part One

Now you have to crane. This is one of the hardest things to do in Toontown Online. You may know the basics, pick up a goon, throw it at the CFO, right? Ok, now to the next part. If you get a goon and your crane is swinging everywhere, make the crane go forward, then back, and repeat for about 3 or 2 times to get it on track. If you are planning on throwing a safe, only use it in three ways:
One: Throw it at the CFO to dislodge another one
Two: Drop it on a goon to squish it
or
Three: Throw it at the CFO while the stars are going around his head

Tip Five: Craning Part Two

You know how to throw the goons, get a guard to disable it, then throw it. Now the safes, how do you know when to throw it? Simple, use common sense and timing. You see, you will know when to stop when the stars stop spinning, there is a second before the CFO stops going and it makes a sound like gears aligning. So you will hear a very faint sound and then DON'T THROW A SAFE NOW! If you do, it will give him a helmet that you will have to knock of with another one, wasting precious time as he gets stronger, faster, and madder!

i kinda disagree on this one part no ofense this is a great guide.

if you are in a group of pros and a few new coemrs come let them grab the crane the pros can handle most of the stuff
and if they do not listen do this throw a un disabled goon at them

you dont need to be 100 or peny pincher i know most ppl dont get in on the first try u can tel them what they are doing wrongl like this

a safe will become his helmet
don't throw a safe now
throw a disabled goon at the cfo

and you can tell if someone is new or if they are just being a big dumb pain

if they are new they will stop usualy

if they are being a big dumb pain they will alff and wont stop or ignore you

Thanks for posting the crane maneuevers. I've been able to actually do some things with it. Not necessarily hit the CFO (heh) but I'm trying. Getting darn good at disabling goons though.
