Question Working the crane

Please advise. I've tried it on and off again but can't seem to figure it out. Sometimes there's someone who wants to do it, and that's great. But, if i'm put on crane duty- things are going to go from bad to worse.

Also, what is with people who go and hide in the corner when it's time to battle the CFO? That happened again today.

The only reasons for a toon to hide in the corner would be if one person were playing two toons or if a player had to leave for some reason.

There should be posts on how to use the cranes around, but you should be aware that different computers, video cards, and maybe connection affect the best approach to using the crane for each person.

This is the slow way but it works for me. What I do is I pick up something, wait for it to stop, and then press up and down so it rocks a lot. Then I release.

Thanks, that's my problem. I understand the strategies but cannot for the life of me make the crane move in any discernable direction. I'll try your approach.

I did check out the guides for cranes but didn't see a lot specifically explaining the arrow keys in relation to the movement of the crane. It's certainly not intuitive to me.

Alright then, I'll make a pro's guide to using the crane. I've played for 4 years so I know what I'm doing
