Sound Problems in Cashbot HQ

Is anybody else having sound problems in Cashbot HQ? when the elevator reaches the CFO area, I get a chord of music that won't go away until I close down Toontown.

I've had it happen to me numerous times. Not so much in CHQ. Has happened there, don't get me wrong but I've had it mainly happen in Factories and Donald's Dreamland. Especially when it's a busy district. To me, it sounds like a horrible organ music. Something that should be in a horror movie. I've had it go away after a while, but sometimes I would lose patience waiting for that to happen and I'd sign off. Pretty irritating huh? Hopefully they will fix that. Gwen

I have had that ever since i joined tt back in october 04. it happens at random times, it can happen at any location, any district and rarely turns off if i don't log out. I agree that it is like one organ cord, and it is way out of tune. It is very annoying. They really need to fix it. I have e-mailed disney many times about it and they say they are going to fix it soon but they never do. Back in april, i think, they had something in the release notes that said it was a known problem and they would fix it soon. but there has been no mention of it since, and it is still a problem. grrrr.

Happens to me too, especially after VP (or after hours of playing ). I usually play with music turned off, but leave sound effects on - no annoying organ music. Try changing TT settings in your shticker book.

I have it too, I usually get it at mints. It does just sound like an organ going, "Bszzzzzzzz" I hate it, it is so annoying and drills in painful headaches. I hope Disney does fix this bug. When I finish the mint, or wherever I am, I usually alt F4 out and hear the great sound...of nothing.

Yeppers, For over a year I would get "chirping" after most VPs (did you know that the sound of the dizzy VP is the same sound as the birds in DG?), especially if I had been on for a while. Would have to completely exit out of the game and go to the front page screen to get it to go away.

Since upgrading my CPU it hasn't happened, though. I just figured they had fixed it...

I have the same problem as well. It's mainly after VP. I thought it was only my laptop acting weird.... well, I guess it's something else.

We have it two, both on our laptops and on our desktop PC. It usually happens to us after CFO or VP.

It is very annoying and we either turn off the sound or re-log.

I get that "chirping" sound too almost a year now. Like you I would have to exit toontown to get rid of that annoying sound.

I get this problem with DDL music. With music turned off but sound on, I don't have any problems.

It is not Cashbot HQ it is Donald's Dreamland. Toontown really needs to fix the sound problem.

I started in 2002 and had it then, and have it now on different, newer computer.

I had it on Windows 98, Windows 2000, Windows ME, and now window XP Professional. Different sound cards in each.

Occurs at random times. It will go away while I play like when I go into dreamland it might go away. I have to log all the way back to the toontown homepage, and then it is gone.

So, the sound problem is persistent.

Many of the old problems with toontown that caused us to quit are still here.

THANK YOU! Someone finally made a thread about this issue. Whenever i go to DDL or Cashbot HQ this hideous organ music plays, ands I always have to turn my volume down until it stops. I thought I was the only one w/ this problem, but it turns out I'm not the only one. Thanks for making this thread
