Let me be the first to tell you that Barnacle Bessie does not hit lured cogs! I pulled a Bessie but my sf inadvertently chose Lure.
I watched in horror as all four pianos missed. I do believe that the SOS card gags are subject to the same rules as any gag bought for one jellybean at the gag shop. |

I've posted before that I tried two Barnacle Bessie's in a row when I was the last toon in VP and the both missed on four lured cogs. Since then I've tried several drop SOS cards and if one's unlured it hits all. The pianos drop behind the cogs but the damage points appear.

Last night, we were in the mint and I used a 4 star sound. The other toons selected two elefs and a fog. Sound missed, but the cogs took 90 damage. Since the sound sos was only good for 40 points, that means that the fog must have hit with the sos sound. |

I always thought that one cog has to be unlured for the SOS drop to hit. I was in the VP earlier today and wanted to make space for a new SOS card. We had 3 lured cogs, somebody used storm cloud on level 8 cog, that left 2 lured cogs. The drop SOS I used was 3 star. To my surprise it DID hit the lured cogs, but what's even more bizzare....they remained lured! I would have never believed it if i did not see it by myself. Did something like that happen to anybody before?

That seems to be the default behavior for SOS drop cards used on lured cogs. Unless there is a bug using a SOS card, the card will always hit. Every SOS drop card that I've used with any of the cogs lured have hit all cogs and left them lured. Nice bonus for the SOS drop, don't you think?
