High Laffers...(Part 2)

I realize every toon serves a purpose and low laffs do too. But the thing is UBER noobs should really be the only ones to help out in hard and difficult areas. VP, CFO, and the Mints are the difficult areas and the only reason DISNEY allows toons to go everywhere is because most toons enjoy to fish and fill up their Shticker Maps. Though you may say i am being the low laffer in this situation of judging people and toons on their experience. Experience does not make the toon, it may help the toon, but not keep it healthy (alive). For instence if you had "experience" would you go in The Mints alone with a bunch of 15 laffers just because you say you have "experience". NO. So please realize that "experience" does not make the toon either does laff points it the gags and how you use them.

But when you have these low laffing toons that barge in there like they own the place from 35 to 50 laffs in the VP just because they dont wanna be a cold caller anymore, some of you Mr. Hollywoods i know you would try andget rid of them because i know none of you would just go in there with low gags and no idea how to use them if there was a UBER noobs which proboly have played before and have know-how.

And when you would do a Mint you proboly wanna get it done ASAP and dont wanna waste your time Tooning-up a laff that just has low leveled gags and couldnt make it through 5 goons light hits. Also why would you try with a low-laffer it doesnt make sense.

And CFO battles eventually your gunna have a toon without the know-how to operate a crane who is first trying it out when you have better know-how. When i agree with i believe it was Deputy Monty's statement which said "it doesnt matter on the fastness of a CFO crane and goon battle but the teamwork..." and yes he'd be correct in that statement. Low laffing toons usually mean you have no know-how or experience in this case because most toons dont get their CFO disguises until 80+ area some UBERS have done their disguises early.

Only reason im so hard on low laffers is because most of them dont have any idea what to do and always need and ask for a toon-up after losing 1 measilly laff point. Most have bad gags and no experience. UBERS have the only exception over any low laffing toon. Low laffing and un-experienced shoudl do the following as if stated in my other thread...

Toons wanting to VP should be 65+ laffs or have lv 5 gags all or so, with the exception of UBERS.

Toons wanting to do Mints should be 72+ laffs or have at least 3 lv 6 gags or so, with the expeption of UBERS.

Toons wanting to do the CFO should be 85+ laffs or 90+ laffs and have mostly lv 6 gags or so, with the exception of UBERS.

I've seen plenty of people telling me i shoulda chose Toon-up in my last thread well then tell that to these following toons listed on CCG are ones that mastered a toon basically and still made it: Captian Crazy Wildnose: 105, Cool Buster Superbounce: 75, Dinky (UBER): 68,Electrosplat:106, Gracie Looslips: 117, Jeeperpow: 105, Peaches: 106, Miss Featherberry: 105 and, Tooninator: 114. Most of you toons and people miss out on the thrill of going and beating a toon without using toon-up even though when you can train your doodle and SOS cards and UNITE phrases to toon-up fellow toons.

I agree. I know this is what you were trying to say on your other thread and you got all the uber arguments. It's very sticky around here when you are trying to talk about regular low laffs, always remember to say, "with the exception of ubers." Good job!

I think, you don't get it.

When I was on my first toon I waited until I had 100+ laff and fairly high gags before I went to the VP. And guess what: I lost. Why did I go sad? Because I had no experience and didn't know what to do. I lost a couple more times before I finally got it. Now I'm at the VP with my second toon. I can actually help others winning. This toon has only 53 laff and is not an uber (yet). Just yesterday I was the lowest toon on my side during the skele round and yet they wouldn't have made it without me. I'm telling you, by just looking at laff or gags you can not tell how experienced someone really is.

The only way to know that is going in with friends. Creating a laff limit for VPing would take away a lot of fun. Look at some of the victories at the CCG. Not all of these low laff toons are ubers. Sometimes its just great teamwork that keeps even the most inexperienced toon alive. And guess what, thats how they get experience.
On my big toon I never went sad in VP since I was in my Cold Caller suit. And I dont shuffle, nor refuse to go with any low laffer. So, if you think it's too risky for you to go in with a 53 laff toon, then go to DDL and work on your gags and tasks or on you teamplay. Because one of it is probably not good enough yet.

I do the mint with one or two friends. And if a 17 laff toon comes and joins us I will not shuffle. Why? Because we can do the mint with or without him. He will probably go sad underneath the stompers, at the goons or when a lure misses. But hey, this is how he gets experience. It doesn't hurt me. It may take a few minutes longer. If someone makes bad gag choise there are speedchat phrases to let them know. Some will learn, some won't. I you refuse to go in with them they don't even have the chance to learn. I've seen 105 toon pulling out a banana peel on a level 12, using their bike horn on a bunch of lured cogs. But I still survived it.

Well, I think the battle between low and high laff toons will go on as long as toontown will exist. I'm on toontown only since February. And I've read too many of these threads and I've seen too much shuffle. Good idea to go with the CCG. Thats fun for my high laff toon as well as for my low laff. It's challenging sometimes but its always good not to deal with shuffle. And it is so rewarding to get a Cold Caller level 1 to the victory dance. With 100 laff and even better with 50 laff.

My Mood:
I did not mention ubers in my post on the other thread and see no reason to bring them into this discussion. So let's talk about NORMAL low laffers. I will repost it here:
Quote:
The following is NOT opinion at all but is fact: A 19 laffer has business in the Sellbot HQ because Disney has made it possible for them to be there - if they did not want it to be so, I assure you it would not be so. Disney made it possible to earn their sellbot suit by going in the factory 10 times. Disney made it possible for them to go fight the VP once they have their suit. Disney made it possible for them to go in the mints. Disney made it IMpossible for them to go fight the CFO untill they have completed their DDL tasks for that - in answer to our complaints, I believe, for those who think they are not listening. However, as long as players of any laff are allowed to do those other things, people need to stop getting upset about them being there. It is true that there are griefers who get their jollies by making us miserable - and it is a shame that a few griefers ruin it for real players of low laff. I know griefers are a problem and this is one reason I rarely run with strangers anymore, despite the fact I often enjoy these runs - but the fact remains that your only choice is to not go with them if you don't want to. Unfortunately this will often involve endless district-switching and frustration.
It is untrue that Disney allows toons into other playgrounds just to fish and fill up their books. That may be your opinion of the only reasons they should be there - but if Disney wanted them to only do that, I promise you they would get that done. I am glad Disney does not agree with your ideas on laff/gag limits - I think that would vacuum a lot of the fun right out of the game.

YOU have control over who goes in with you, by NOT going in with those you don't want to go with. You can CHOOSE not to go with the little ones. It will be a pain for you to avoid them but that is not THEIR fault. If you want things YOUR way find a group of friends who will get with your program - and switch districts till you find one with no shuffle.

Low laffers are not the problem. Griefing is a problem, inexperience is a problem but we have all been there and need to start somewhere. Personally I see snobby high laffers as a bigger problem because they won't give NORMAL (by this I mean non-griefing) low laffers a chance.

edited because I can't say what vacuums do lol
