Elevator Ditching

Any anyone ever been ditched at the elevtor? It keeps happing w/ the VP:
At the very last second (mostly experienced toons) get off so im stuck with one other toon. Its happened so much ive decided to wait till im more experienced.

did u ever think why they are ditching you. they are mostly found of ditching annoying player that just won't take no for an answer when evey one can see its way too risky for them

My son was just trying to VP on another toon and he lost connection when the timer hit 0. Sometimes that happens, you never can tell.

First, welcome to TTC.
Second, you aren't the only one who has been ditched. Search the threads. There are so many ppl who fall victim to the shuffle and the ditch. You have 61 laff according to your profile so odds are you should be able to VP with the experience you have. If you have never fought the VP before may I suggest you check out the CCG forum. They have specific rules but the shuffle is low to non existant and you can build your suit there which may make it easier to get an elevator with random toons later.

everyone has gotten ditched. your not the only one. i have gotten ditched at least 25 times my whole time playing toontown. in mints, buildings, cfo's, and vp's

Yeah I have, mostly stupid noobies or stuck up high level holylwoods, but it might have changed since was gone,
I'll be playing tt again tommorow, so we shall see, but by the looks of it hasn't changed.

i cant lie. i have dithced toons before. especially in mints. never in cfo but rarely in vps

i hate ditching! Never! ( well not never ) anwayz sometimes if u eneter with a group of strangers it may happen that everyone stays. (that has ahppened to me twice) but i suggest u gather a group of freinds before u v.p. i always do and we always make it thru both battles. but for some starnge reason i always die fighting the v.p. himself! o well i keep trying tho! TOONS OF THE WORLD UNTIE!

Today, I went the the only busy district to CFO my maxed RB/HW toon. We had 8 good toons on the elevator, but a RB toon had to stand in front of the elevator and the timer, so at the last second a bunch of high toons jumped off. When the doors opened, we had 6...no biggie as I do 4s quite often. Then one jumps and we're down to 5. It just so happens that me and the only other maxed toon are together. A minute or so goes by and we hear toons going sad on the other side, and then no cog activity. It's just us two and we're not sfs, never even played together to the best of my recollection.

Luckily we're on the same side, which makes things much easier, but it still took us over 30 minutes to get through the cog round. We ended up using 2 regag drop (we both had drop, no trap), one regag sound and two TOW TU phrases...but most of those were his. I was planning on using a Prof Pete to regag all but just before I did that, he regaged our drop so we had 80 gags.

Anyway, we get through the cog round with almost nothing but drop left in our bag. The actual CFO round wasn't so bad as we worked well as a team and both would alternate stomping and craning. That part probably only took 10 minutes. After a total of close to 45 minutes, we defeat the CFO with just us two doing the majority of the work. And what was the reward? 100 jellybeans!!!

Anyway, my point is that when you get stuck on the elevator with just a few toons, just try it out and see if you can make it. I was very surprised we won but it will make me think twice about ditching on the elevator even when there's just 2 of us!

OK, I was really proud of my 46 laugh points. After reading here I'm a little more humble.



But here is my problem. I have a TOON TASK!!! I have to destroy a department in the Sellbot HQ. Everytime I get to the elevator I get the shuffle. I've managed to jump back to the playground a coupla times when EVERYONE bails and I'm alone -- and once I couldn't bale and got creamed in the boiler room.

So how can I get help or get these folks to stop bailing on me? I need to complete the toon task to get a laff boost!

any advice appreciated.

Update: Somehow I survived to complete my toontask -- even with 3 others at about the same laff range (40-50). Woo-hoo!

what can i say. i get ditched too. i mean, if freinds wanna go with freinds teleport to another district in the HQ. either way, ditching in general is not nice at all.
So if some shufflers are readin this, i have a message for ya,
"Get a life, retards"
