The washroom key

I am so glad that Disney decided to give us SOMETHING (other than laff points, obviously) as a reward for all those hard earned bucks/merits.

It really is nice to be able to go to the VP/CFO with friends when they are earning a promotion, or to go in and help people you don't know without worrying too much whether you are going to go sad...

My thoughts recently have turned to actually missing what it used to be like, though.

Don't get me wrong. I have never done the factory or the mint just for the joy of doing it. Sure, sometimes the company is enjoyable, but certainly not the virtual environment!

But really, I am starting to miss the days when people actually started new toons so that they could fight the boss more often.

When you met someone who had a level 50 it was usually meeting them on a "smaller" toon and being impressed with their skills.

Now, level 50s are seen all the time (almost a dime a dozen), and for the most part all it means is that the person has taken the time to get there, not that they have emplary skills.

Just some thoughts, don't mind my rambling if you don't agree.

But really, I would like to know, how many people would trade in the ability to "go anytime they want" for teleport access to the headquarters for their whole account (meaning all toons on that account)?

I think to properly answer that question you'd have to specify what the new requirements would be for these RB50s to go. At 8900 I know I would not trade it. Fifteen hundred might change my thoughts.

I wouldn't Trade

I always thought TP access should be added to Toons with the key.
I don't use my keys much, mostly to just help friends! I have others needing Promotion, but have always thought TP access should've come with the key! But rather than take a done toon back to the bullions, I'd rather run

I would trade for teleport access I think. For cash at least. Getting sell merrits is such a pain I don't know that I would want to keep doing it. Good post

A bit off topic....

This may be posted around here somewhere but I haven't seen it. I've heard about the "key" but what exactly is it all about? Thanks!

When you reach 50 on your cog suit, the reward is an "Executive Washroom key" which allows you to return to the boss battle without having to re-earn bucks or merits.

It is not a physical item (you don't see it in your shticker book); the only thing that shows is the word "maxed" where your merits are usually listed during the victory dance. In your book, it just always shows full merits/bucks.

Thanks for the replies everyone. I purposely did not put any qualifications on the "no key" because I would like to know each person's own idea on what would be an acceptable alternative.

And to reiterate, my idea is that once ONE toon on the account has completed a cog suit, then ALL the toons on that account get tp access. For example, in my case, since Moonshadow has completed both HQ, all of my toons would have access to both HQ.

Perhaps I should reorganize that though. How about getting tp access to the HQ once you have earned tp access to the attached playground....

I would hate to have that mean that 15 laffers could tp to cash HQ because their account has a RB50 on it...

The 'Executive Washroom Key' is a corporate phenomena, even the Simpsons has had this key in there show.

I wouldn't trade it for tp access, I have tp access to a limited extent by using another account and leaving a toon near the place I am working. Ever seen Baron Peanut MacFuddy? Silently reading his book for hours on end?

But i do think that TP access should be granted through a task once the washroom key has been earned by that toon.

I see Baron Peanut MacFuddy standing in the corner all the time, I sometimes do this as well if no friends to tp to! Oh by the way Baron Peanut MacFuddy needs some gags

Yes he needs gags, lol. But he's not into fighting cogs, his only task is "Meet here", and thats a really good book he's reading.

Anyone interested in finding out how i keep him from falling asleep with book open feel free to pm me.

I wouldn't trade it for tp access. TP access would be nice, but I understand why it will never happen. The cogs would never allow us tp access to their HQ, lol.

Sir Ernie's tp toon makes it pretty easy to get there, look how he concentrates even when I land on top of him.........

Of course the cogs can't allow us to gain TP access to their HQ.
But "we" could set up some kind of TP station right outside their quarter, perhaps even in the closest building
Just a thought to the devs, to get around the problem with TPing into cogHQ.

Talking Parked Toon

I don't know if this is how your toon stays put but here is one way:

(warning: if you have motion sickness this might not be a good idea, I don't and it even made me queasy)

*make sure the number lock button is not clicked
*press and hold the #4/left arrow key or the #6/right arrow key(key pad on right of key board)
*while still holding one of those keys turn number lock back on

You will now turn in endless circles, the first time I did it I had a very hard time making it stop, so far the only way I have found is to try and jump/run until it corrects.

Good luck, don't forget the airsick bag!
