Take stand, a sleeping toon should be left alone!

I played for about 15 min yesterday, trying to get into the bullion to work on my 8900.
Well, here's what happened:
A toon fell asleep in front of the door, 2 toons immediately started pushing him/her into the ele. I started to push back to keep them from doing it, unfortunately the toon was too close to the door, and I couldn't stop them. I told them "That wasn't nice!", they told me "Chill out!".
5 minutes later, same thing happens, a toon falls asleep and immediately two almost identical toons start pushing her into the ele, this time though i was able to deflect her to the side and prevent them from doing this.

Take a stand, if you are a nice toon and you see this happening do your best to stop it, push back, don't let them play their little prank.

I know this subject has been brought up before with the VP and CFO ele's which is much worse than the mint.

Lets work together to make TT a better place for all, consider it a 'Good Samaritan' rule, if you see it happening and do nothing about it you are just as bad as the perpetrators.

P.S. I am not talking of sf hazing, which can be hillarious between friends.

I definitely agree with you but how do you know the difference? And sometimes I get up to go get a snack or something and tell my friend push me in when you are ready. Well, I guess in that case if someone stops them they will just have to wait! I would rather that then be pushed in when I don't want to be. I just don't understand why it is fun to hurt others.

Did they get into the elevator with the sleeping toon?

My friends and I will often push each other into the elevator if one of us is AFK and the rest of us are ready to go. BUT if they pushed the sleeping toon on and didn't join that's just plain malicious. I'll usually try to assess if the toons are friends, such as the awake one has been standing next to the sleeping one for some time or if it's just some random rude toon who popped in and is being mean. If the toon is obviously a griefer I also make a point to do my best to stop them.

For me yesterday, the fact that i was in a busy district and i saw no sf chat between the toons before they fell asleep was a good sign for me that it wasn't kosher.
You can't always be sure.

The first time it was a small yellow cat, and i forget the other toon.
The Second time it was two dogs with almost identical names, the last name was reversed.

All of the toons doing it were 100+

Yeah, i've seen those two mice doing it too, but I haven't run into them doing it lately.

In the first case the toon was pushed in alone into the ele and no one hopped on.
The Second time one toon left immediately, and the other hung around for a little bit.
In both cases i watched both the sleeping toon and the pushy toons tp to the ele area. Nothing in any of the toons actions showed they were frds of any sort.

I was in the CFO lobby with a friend one nite, waiting for enough people to go into CFO. I decided to come here while we waited, and told my friend to whisper to me when we had enough.

When she whispered to me, I went back to the TT screen, said thanks, and got on the ele.

one small toon got on, and that was it.

My friend said, "she was trying to push you in".

I got off the ele, and told the toon, "That wasn't nice!" Thus started an ordeal that lasted a good 15 minutes. Everyone who saw her doing it refused to board the elevator, but she was standing right in front of it and would get on anytime anyone else did, even though most of us were saying, "that wasnt nice" and "no thank you".

She ended up eventually going with a group of toons who came in after the event, while those of us who saw loaded immediately as soon as she was gone and had a great CFO.

I have also had the priveledge of a 60 laff toon trying to push my 107 into a DDL building while my toon had zzzz's above her head. I was at the computer, watching, but sometimes get tired of moving the toon immediately if she gets zzzzs. So I let her get me into the elevator just to see what she had planned. There was another toon at the doors too, and I knew we could do the building just the three of us. So I get pushed on the ele, the dog jumps on with me, and the pushing toon says, "no, hee hee, lets find other toons". He jumped off and tp'd away. I got off the elevator and went back to my spot. She said, "huh?" and ran around the corner. When I didn't say anything, she came back and started pushign again. I let her get me right to the doors then I jumped backward over her. She said "yikes!" I just stood back in my original spot and didn't say anything. She waited to see what I was going to say, and when I didn't say a word, SHE STARTED PUSHING AGAIN! I said, "what brings you here?" and she said "oh my!" and ran away.

Just like the other examples high laff toons have set in the past, this one is becoming a trend.

I am not taking any sides on this.. But at least being pushed on a MINT elevator is pretty benign. There is no damage to you if you are in the lobby. Now a building (or the street) is another story.

Kehawin- 2 great stories, wonder if either toon still pushes others on ele's?

Popcorn- You are right the mints are really not much of problem if you get pushed in, unlike bldgs or vp/cfo where you are started into a battle.

All in all its pretty harmless all the sleeping toon will lose is jbs and have to regain their laff. But I feel we can make a difference on Open to combat this form of harassment.

Oh boy! You know my feelings on this!

Some of you know this already, but RL sometimes pulls me away from the computer. I have posted a couple of times on pushy toons! I despise that! My experience's have been at CFO lobby. Once done by RB's (well known ones) when I had to run a kiss a boo boo! Shame on those Big guys, they were going to send me to CFO alone. I still see them around and wouldn't go on the trolly with them anymore than I would cfo!
I do try to stop pushing when I see it, I wouldn't worry as much going into the mint as I would at VP and CFO, I've been told "I don't care", ect. Those that do it, do it for fun, and don't even feel a ping of guilt either!

LOL, I love the story outside the cog building, to funny!

LOL, sometimes I LET my toon fall asleep just for fun. There is nothing like making the angry emotion at the same second they touch you!! LOL talk about some apologies flying

Though more often it is RL pulling me away as someone said, when I get back I might not wake the toon up right away. It is amazing watching what some people will do.

I have seen pushy toons too. Once a friend of mine tpd to me before she had to leave her toon. I was in DDL and was fighting a cog. While this was taking place, a random toon came and pushed my friend into the elevator of a 5 story Cash building. I was stuck in the cog battle and I heard the ele door close. It was too late. I used every speed chat phrase available to let that random toon know what he did was not nice. I watched as her lp quickly went down and tpd to her when she got sad and went to the playground. I then stayed with her until she logged off. The next time she logged on it was quite a surprise to her to find her toon had been sad.
I agree with Sir Ernie in that if it's a busy district and there is no sf chat you can assume the pushing is not kosher. My friends and I will push our toons for fun, but it's only when there are no other toons around and we know they kind of expect it--lol.
If I see toons asleep in risky places I try to push them into a safer area (like the pit in SHQ, in a corner in CHQ, or off a street in any area). Alot of kids play this game and may leave their toon at any time as they get distracted or get a call from mom. I know my kids would be very upset to find their toon sad when they came back to the pc!

i will never push a toon into soemthing like an ele. everytime i see a toon asleep in middle of street i quikliy start to psuh them to sidewalk. and sometimes a cog comes up and starts a fight of course i always carry gags and destroy everycog that joins the fight. i never leave a toon in the midle of the street thats just wrong. i hate when i'm asleep on the sidewalk and some toon comes up to me and starts pushing me to street thtas why i always teleport back to playgorund.

I have done that as well. I have also pushed sleeping toons into bldgs if my friends and I want it and they look like they were waiting for it. So far I have received "Thanks" and "you guys are great" but we have stopped doing that since I read another thread and so many ppl are against it. I will intervene if the toon is being pushed to the tracks or into the line of cog battles.

My son was in the VP lobby last night and witnessed a Mr. Hollywood being pushed toward the elevator. He pushed the Holly back down the stairs and was spammed with "stop that" and "you stink". At first, I thought maybe they had been his friends and they were trying to get him on there for a reason but quickly learned otherwise when the Holly came back. The Holly thanked my son and stinked the other toons. I don't get it! Why push someone on the elevator like that? Anyway, my son was right in that instance but was stinked anyway.
