VP Battle Last Night - Strange

First I want to thank those who did not feel it necessary to take part in the elevator dance at the VP. We lower laugh Toons contributed pretty well, I think and survived to the final pie throwing session. I don't remember the names, sadly but you are appreciated. My toon is Tubby Dandystink, a green monkey with (only) 59 laugh but nearly maxed Throw and Squirt.

Anyway, two odd things happened. First, we were down to three toons fighting the Skelecogs (Tubby, another lower laugh toon who kept trying to tell us what to do and that he needed a toonup, and a 105 or so toon) and we were all getting close to sad. I used my one SOS card, Soggy Nell for the Pixie dust and she came and used it but none of us were boosted at all. I don't get it, can SOS cards gags fail completely?

The second thing was that, once the battle started the game got so laggy that I got, maybe 1 frame every second or two. The VP kept jumping but, because of the lag I couldn't jump at the right time to protect Tubby. We spend all that time then got sad due to lag. I have a pretty fast DSL connection and a reasonable computer, any thoughts on what I might do to alleviate the lag?

1:Some toons like Soggy nell use pixie dust,But it dosn't heal:Only Flippy,Madem Chuckle,and daffy don toon you up.
Proffesor guffaw gives you toon up.Here is the SOS things:
Restock:SOS uses Lipstick.
Cogs miss/Toons hit:Pixie dust
Toon up:Juggling Marbles
Gags use the lvl.6 gag,Except trap door.
and yes,SOSes can fail completley,but only the Piano,Goggles, and fog horn.
2.Art money makes things on TT and MS go slower.

So the Toons hit pixie dust increases the chance of the toons hitting or makes sure the cogs miss rather than tooning up a toon who has already been hit?

Yes.Why they DEVS made that stuff like that,I don't know.

Thanks. That thread is helpful. I had been somewhat confused. Now if I can just figure out how to get rid of that stinking lag.....

people with other windows up besides Going to toontown... Seem to have lots of lag.
Sometimes lag spreads from toon to toon.This can not be stopped.
Sometimes,If all toons are doing to mauch(With the cogs)At a time,It will lag.
Adware on your cpu slows it down.
Norton scans REALLY slows it down.
If that's not the case,i'm stumped.

The lag is because you have DSL. You need Internet Explorer 5 (at least) and Cable for the game to run smoothly during the VP/CFO Boss Battles.
