solving the noob problem during VP

This has to be one of the worst ideas I've ever seen. The VP has probably been beaten by toons with less than 60 laff at least 100,000 times, maybe more. Why shouldn't they be able to VP?

I agree with you 100 percent if I ever see your toon playing that is if I decide to not quit toontown I will make sure you make it through the vp okay.

wuts so fun bout that u defeat the vp within les then 30 mins with all high laffers then wat another boaring week doing 29 more facs for the stinken merits. Its fun to go with them u get a chalage so if u die u go again u dont loose ur suit now.

all im saying is that there are too many noobs. it driving me insane going sad all the time. i am now a 99 laugher and can hardly beat the VP because they are too many noobs.

All are idiots if they think that they can get rid of newbies . I've gained respect for them. I mean, we ubers have the CBHQ the work with. We ALL were 50- at some point! How would you like it if people always were wanting to get rid of you? Sure I was just 97 points this morning and had 60+'s help me make that a 100 point toon, but that's not the point. I've worked with 25- toons that overcame to VP. Take Here Kitty Kitty for example. He's only 24(according to CCG site) laff at Hollywood 8-14(Wacko_Wackyboom, correct me if I'm wrong). Why? He was (A) an advanced player as a super-n00b or (B) thru from luck. I suspect that A is the answer. Do you know WHY people are able to do that? Because some of us let them get VP experience. So maybe you should THINK about what they're thinkin'. I'm partialy working on a newbie right now!

Actually...highlaffers do that too...sometimes I leave mints cuz highlaffers are soooo dumb! When they have fog, the high laffer wanna use a trumpet, when you wanna go real quick cuz you have a zillion bucks the highlaffer wants to work his lil trap gags. I dunno if you have ever been in this position....but highlaffers can be jus as bad...and act pretty nasty and complain 'bout newbies...noobs arn't complaining 'bout highlaffers now are they? Hey, I've brought my weeker toon inside bullions since 57 laff cuz he had nearly maxxxed fog! But (sadly) theer were toons that would rather go with 100+ laffers without fog because their laff was better. Maybe that noob you're trying to get rid of in a VP will save you! One saved me...yes, a newbie saved a 107 laffer. Like I sayd in my earlier post... I see more vital mistakes from highlaffers then noobs.

When will people learn that Laffs aren't everything? I repeat...

Laffs are a measure of how much damage a Toon can take, not how good of a player they are.

There are, of course, some lower-Laffers who don't play all that well, but there are many others who are very good, if not extremely good at the game. Often I have been in fights where the lower-Laff Toons are better then some of the higher-Laffers. You can't say that all high-Laffers are good, nor can you say that all low-Laffers are bad. You can't say anything just looking at Laffs and gags, you have to play with the Toon before you know.
If the V.P. took all Laff away from the low-Laff haters, that might be a better solution.

There should just be 2 elevators in the VP lobby area thingy. One elevator is for toons 60+ while the other elevator is for toons 60-. Then make the noob elevator an easier VP battle (make the cogs weaker). Then make the 60+ toons elevator the way it is now... Only problem with that i guess would be that we will see toons with 25 laff points Hollywood 50's... Ok maybe thats a bad idea.... lets all just be mean to the noobies....

I agree, there should be some sort of LP limit on VP. To all these people who say "But toons under 60 LP win VP all the time" I say "When was the last time an all under 60 LP random group won VP?"

My guess is never. You would never get 8 random toons under 60 LP to stay in the lift together. **** 60 LP toons jump the lift when 40 LP toons jump onboard.I myself have gone into VP lobby and seen 10+ toons with less than 60 LP standing around, they have more than a full group so why havnt they left already ?Why are those same 60 LP toons suprised when 100+ LP toons jump the lift when they jump on?

I myself waited till I had finished LOM tasks before even touching the VP. I realised from reading forums and experience that anything less than 60 LP is just stupid.

You have your choice, and I have mine. My choice is to only go into VP with 60+ LP toons. Your choice is to go into VP with toons with less than 60 LP. Guess who has more chance of winning and will have more fun.

To the haters who hate people who hate people with 60LP doing VP. You go ahead and do VP with these low toons and save them bothering the rest of us.
