I don't see this in the release notes. Why do you say it is an update and not a bug? Please tell me if I missed something.
I noticed it for the first time last night and did not notice it a couple of days ago. If this IS an "improvement", I think it stinks, and I hope you all will report it. I plan to report it right now as well as any other time it happens. Edit - here is the report I just sent. "Hello, Yesterday while in the VP I found I was unable to check another toon's laff by clicking on their name during the pie fight. As I am sure you are aware, this is often the only way a toon will survive. I personally try to keep track of toon laffs so I can help them if needed while others are trying to stun (I am not a good stunner - this is all part of teamwork) I sincerely hope that this is just a bug you need to fix. If you make it so toons must ask for a toonup, there will be nothng but chaos and sad toons (for one thing, some toons whine for a toonup when they don't REALLY need it while others may not ask till they are too low). Please, PLEASE tell me you are fixing this bug!!!" |

Yeah, I noticed this yesterday in the V.P. and today in the C.F.O. Quite frankly, it stinks. I really don't want to take Toons on their word whether they need a Toon-Up or not. Some Toons have a way of requesting a Toon-Up even if they're a few points down. In the V.P., I have no way of knowing if that Toon is just whining about a few lost points, or if they're in serious trouble. I have to decide, "Is the risk of that Toon going sad serious enough to stop attacking the V.P.?" Yes, it may cause me to lag, but it's my decision if I want to do that. I'd like to have the option.
Same thing in the C.F.O. A Toon says they need a Toon-Up. Do they really, or are they whining? Is it worth using a Unite? Should I stomp some extra Goons and give them more treasures? Or is it just a waste of my time? I can't tell. We've gotten so accustomed to playing like this, I don't know why Disney would do this. If we want to risk the lag, it should be our choice. __________________ Prof. Coconut McBubble, 106 Laffs Making Toontown a better place, one Low-Laffer at a time Toon-Up: Juggling Balls. I just did a VP run and realized what you guys were talking about. I think it makes the battles a little more interesting and a little harder. I mean the VP run was easy enough as it is. This just provides another challenge.
I think whoever is low on laff can stay back, away from the VP until someone can toon them up. If you have a full load of 8 persons, 1 person can help tooning up the others, while the rest keep the VP busy. At least, that's what I did. just work around it. If it is a bug I'm sure disney will fix it....sooner or later.

I think it's probably another bug. If Disney would of added it, it would be in their release notes. Then again theres always those "silent updates", where they don't say anything, and just add something. Adding(or I should say taking away) something like this, should be mentioned if it was put into the game. That's Disney for ya.

It really isn't too much harder. Toons just have to start looking out for themselves and try to survive. It's just an added challenge. |
