Talking I'm in the CFO lobby and...

as I stand there on my 2nd toon, simply complex.. tightwad5... I had to laff at the rb's who didn't wanna go with any low suits, but their "own kind."
You ppl are funny. You are the one's who give the rest of us high laffs a bad name. Don't you, for one minute think that maybe these are 2nd toons or even 3rd?
I hope your CFO battle fails and you all go sad.
That might be mean, but you all deserve it.
I have pictures, but I won't post it since the rules are, you can't show names when you're dissing a toon, because it gives them a bad name. To me, it's warning other toon's they aren't "team players."
Oh well, Happy Friday.

What she said. Yeah, most Robber Barrons are babys....but Pixonater...were you like spazzin? But why do we need a pic of you tryin' to get in a CFO? We were all there at one time or another...it's not like you're the only toon that's haven' trouble gettin' in CFO...I still remember how hard it was gettin' in. It feals like at times I'm the only Robber Barron who will go in with lower cog suited toons. I mean every toon in there is strong right?

-Hurdler Good luck gettin' in though.

No, I was not spazzin. I said "they give other high laffs a bad name"
And the picture... heck yah.. cuz I think other toons should be wary of them.
Yes, all of us were there at one point, but come on... enuff is enuff.... before Cash came out, toon's worked together!!!!!!

Speaking of CFOing on my little toon...

I can not believe how much difference a suit level and 10 laff points makes on the way toons treat each other. Normally I would go into the lobby and get whispers like "You rock!" "Wow!" "Please be my friend!" and "Can you help me?"

Well, got Lady Luck's suit at 85 laff today, all gags maxxed (except trap because I got it after I brought her up and havn't been working it too much until now). Went into the CFO lobby in my cute lil Short Change suit and couldn't believe how many people told me I stunk, for no reason. "I think this is too risky for you! Please go away!" The funniest part is that my gags were better than most of these guys. Even funnier, 2 of them were RB50s LOL, you chickens!!!

Went in again later with 3 of my SFs, 2 of them also 85 laffers (most gags maxxed) and Short Change level 1s making 3 Short Changes that nobody would go in with LOL! So the 4 of us loaded into the elevator while everyone else just stood there and watched on. Only one other person, a 96 laffer got in with us and we were all like whatever, let's just stay. Little do those jerks know that the 4 of us own bigger toons, all RB50 and HW50s. So of course, we had no trouble getting through just the few of us.

THEN, I go to the bullion elevator to get my bucks (was helping a friend who needed a lot more) and because I had a task for 140 cashbots. Seemed like a good idea to me, I've been through the bullion countless times in the past few days. Then some 106 laff dog with no TU and only 3 level 6 gags comes to the elevator and starts telling everyone under 100 laff to go away, even a 99! LOL, we finally got in with a 108 and a 96 (remember, all of us had fogs too) and the 108 decides to wait until we get past the puzzles and maybe into a battle to teleport out. We went back, stood by the bullion elevator and his 113 laff friend teleports to him. They try to ditch anyone under 100 laff, and then take in 2 people under 100 laff. Was kind of suprised until a few minutes later, they showed back up by the elevator (no sign of the -100s though. hmm, let them go into a battle before they tped out, too?)

Pretty pathetic what a bunch of chickens some of the higher laffers are. They're the ones who give the rest of us a bad name...

My little toon, Emme Patient, was finally ready for her first CFO. Miss Trixie, Midnight Magic and I all went to the busy district with our baby toons (maxed gags, except trap, around 85 laff), along with Mad Max (a RB) and the four of us got on the elevator. One other toon was brave enough to stay on the elevator with us...everyone else hopped off. So we did our first CFO on baby toons with just 5 toons and it was a breeze. Mind you, between us there's 7 or 8 RB toons, so we know what we're doing...but the little suits must have scared people off. That's too bad, and I bet the horse who went with us was pleasantly surprised that we knew what we were doing!

Don't judge a toon by it's suit... you never know what's lurking behind! Just get on the elevator and HAVE FUN!

PS... wrote this while MTJ was doing hers... but she beat me to the post! LOL!

How do you need help? Have you finished all your suit part tasks in DDL already? If not, that needs to come first. Keep working, you'll be in CFO soon.

It's funny. Look like it happened to us (high laffers) alot lately when we play with our baby toons.

I can't imagine what will happen to Lil Melissa when she shows up as a SC1

Lil Melissa is still working on suit parts anyway (hehe)

Melissa RB50/HW50
Maisy RB34/HW12
Lil Melissa (Move & Shakers 7)

I don't know. We both stink (my daughter and I). And it is hard because either we are in there with big guys who totally know how to get at the CFO and don't want us trying to learn how to work the crane, or we see a crane at sinking ship time where the goons are big and biting and that is also not a time to try and figure out how to work the crane. So how does one get practiced at doing the crane? We are both accomplished goon disablers. Getting through the initial battle is nothing. Does anyone have words of wisdom on how to master the crane and hitting the CFO?

The more your on the crane the more you will get used to it. Just master the basics and try to learn some new stuff at the crane along the way. Like throwing non disable goons at CFO, throwing more than one safe at the CFO when hes dizzy, things like that. Hope this helps.

I’ve lost a lot of times because toons keep throwing the safe onto the CFO’s head, making it difficult to win. It isn’t just by accident… They do it again! Lol
So we standing there using the crane and this monkey kept on throwing the safe onto the CFO’s head. Also had a blue dog come and steal my crane after I got hit and then throw a safe onto the CFO’s head. Everyone kept telling him to not throw the safe but he kept on doing it. And we ended up losing. This isn’t the first time I’ve encountered people like this. I’ve died the max of four times in a row doing random groups without looking at the toons. I wouldn’t mind doing a group with nothing but short change if I could at least know they know a little about the CFO. It suxs having to go through all that trouble to end up losing at the end. I could be wrong and this could just be some high laffers alt toons messing people up. Or maybe they just think the safe is what you’re supposed to throw.

When I first CFOed(After hitting 49HW). Me and a friend did a run with you in a random group and man was that fast! I knew that I was an n00b and was only going to disable goons. But I didn’t just do that. I also watch how people used the crane. I was confused about how it wobbled around and finally got the hang of it and how to get the safe off his head.

All I’m trying to say is that toons think the suit shows how well experienced you are in the CFO/VP. And not everyone wants to lose so they judge by the suit more then the Laff points.

Note: I also was about to do a run with Pickles (his cat toon) and he jumped out on the last moment. We had 7 people still but we still won.

I can see your point here. I'd think the best thing is to grab a crane right away and get more practice at the beginning when it's not as fast moving. You can then hop off the crane and ask someone else to operate it when you're feeling like you're getting swarmed or things are going down hill. The other option is to get a group of friends together and have one buddy stomp for you who is good on the crane. They can watch you and tell you what to do different. They can also be an easy escape if you feel overwhelmed.

As far as technique, there's a great guide to CFO here Complete guide to the Cashbot CFO battle.. Read through this thread, and maybe it'll give you more tips on operating the crane. Personally, the best way I think is more time on the crane. Don't give up, with some perserverence you can do it!

Good luck!
