Any one else getting disconnected?

I went into CFO last night around 7 or so, with 7 more other Robber Barons. Everything was going fast and fine then for some reason I got got kicked off with a message saying YOU HAVE BEEN DISCONNECTED FROM TOON TOWN. I'm really sorry to those toons who were with me when this happen. And I was so furious, and embarassed. But, my husband went into CFO about an hour later, on a different computer, and a different account, got to the CFO, had him red, and it did the same thing to him. Is anyone else having this trouble?

I was also disconnected but i think it was just my internet. Mine said that i lost my connection to toontown... btw, i was in the red too

that their programming is unstable and causes you to get disconnected. Yes- it is a horrible problem with toontown. Everyone (just about) is a victim at one time or another.

Yeah, I get disconected a lot on one comp, but not the other (wich I sooo do get) Sorry you got disconnected in those CFOs, It always makes me pretty irratated when that happens to me. Durring that holly invasion I was disconected like 5 times every 20 min....till I gave my comp a restart

Thanks for the replies. I finally uninstalled and reinstalled toontown and made some changes to my internet, and it seems to be helping. THANKS.

It happened to me twice yesterday. Once when me and 3 other toons had the VP all the way down and almost gone, and again in CFO when he went red. I could have pulled my hair out!

I never had a problem with this at all until the day doodles came into battle. Now I get bounced at least once a day and once 6 times in one day. It is a Toontown issue. Everyone I am sf with, so I'm able to ask them, is getting bounced where they didn't before.

we have three computers in the same house on the same outgoing line. We get that message every day at 7:19 pm. If I have other internet apps running they will continue, but toontown will go down on all computers in the house... most of the time... this is where it gets a bit weird, if a computer isnt in use (perhaps a sleeping toon) it will sometimes not loose connection. When this happens we can log back in immediately.

The time changes periodically also. Last month it was 8:30 each evening.


When this does happen by the way, I am immobile (cant be pushed by other toons) but still in the game. If you are in a supervisor battle and it happens you will get credit for it if it is killed. If you are in the VP or CFO and it happens before it is over the edge, or on the tracks, you will not get credit.

I've had several disconnects lately, both computers, all the same variety where only Toontown is disconnected and other Internet applications continue to remain connected.

When they bother to answer the bug reports, Disney often tells me my router firmware needs to be updated. My problem is I cannot find my model number on the Linksys site and my email to their support has gone unanswered. I will try again as it is very frustrating.

in the past few days ive been disconected about 3 times a day.........and i never have been disconected before that O_O(or that i can remember)

i get disconnected a whole lot . espeicially when im in 5 floor cog bldg!!

Not me...
In almost 3 years of playing TT i have only been disconnected once, when my Internet itself went down to ISP problems. Same with the 2 other pc's running TT in my home. My PC is 4 yrs old PIV 1.3 384MB ram. The other 2 are much newer.
I have business cable internet with higher speeds and reliability.

Most likely you are running into a local ISP issue. DSL has problems when it rains, cable is shared, so if everyone in your neighborhood downloaded something at the same time it would affect your connection.

Also, if your internet explorer has been hijacked, then your traffic to TT may be rerouted through an adware/spyware proxy which would really affect your connection.
