2 toon (melissa / andrew) beat CFO

Melissa and Andrew just beat the CFO with only 2 going in and 2 coming out.

Here are the details of the battle from my prespective:

I didn't waste time with SOS cards because I had plenty of "toons of the world phrases". During the battle, I used the following “toons of the world phrases”:

1 restock sound (used it early)
2 restock all gags
2 max toon heal
3 80 toon heal
1 10 toon heal (a level 1 cog came out at the end when I only had 11 laff left) and I didn't want to take any chances of going sad at that point.

That was about it. I was surprised that I didn't need to use more restock gags and toon-up. I’m guessing that Melissa did most of the high level COGS and I just mopped up those little ones. I finished up first, although there were 2 more sets of COGS that came out after I thought that I was done. Melissa had about 40ish laff when I joined and 3 COGS (I think a level 8, level 12, and a level 1). A quick lure, couple of juggling balls, 3 rain clouds, a birthday cake later......and off to the CFO we went.

The CFO battle was surprising easy because Melissa is a natural at the crane and I just tried to keep up with her. The battle consisted of crane, disable goons, shift to another crane, and start all over again. Again, I make it sound easy but it truly was because Melissa is such an expert at the crane. Melissa never misses a chance to throw a safe (although she did manage to put a helmet on the CFO near the end ). I was fortunate enough to have a safe nearby to contribute my part to the battle. I honestly believe that Melissa could have beaten the CFO by herself (I was just fortunate enough not to go sad waiting for her to finish off the CFO).

I've done CFOs and VPs with these two toons and they BOTH ROCK! I'm not surprised you two were able to pull it off... huge congratulations to you both!!! WAY TO GO!

You know Melissa is desperate when Melissa asks andrew to use Lure (andrew can’t hit the broadside of a barn and often proves it). Fortunately in this instance, andrew managed to demonstrate that even occasionally lure works.

When the other 4 toons jumped out of the elevator left just 2 of us alone, I asked "which way". I thought andrew would have said "run" but he didn't. I have confident in andrew who I've been playing with for a good long time and to me I beleive andrew is the best player ever, so I decided to stay and have fun.

We both managed the battle well but honestly it was tough. I used

2 restock throw
2 restock squirt
1 restrock lure
1 gags up all
1 Flippi sos card
4 40 toons up
2 80 toons up

and there's andrew came to the resuce, with the last set of cogs lured in by andrew, we gave each other fully toon up then we're ready to fight the CFO.

Again, it was a tough fight but I had lots of fun plus nervous and exciting.

We won with gags up all reward (I think)

Well me and an SF tried this once, not because we are so sure of ourselves... but because we got abandoned in there, I can honeslty say this is a very hard thing to do, and WOW!! We got our butts handed to us, however, in our defense my SF has lure, but I dont. That probably had something to do with.

What you so happy about I went into a CFO battle and I won. Well it only took 15 minutes for me to disable some goons, 30 minutes for me to operate the cranes, 10 minutes of battling the cog and skelecogs, 2 minutes of mata harry talking to me and 0 secounds of using my SOS cards.

That is truly amazing!!! I didn't read every post word for word but I find it amazing that you two did this even though you...

(1) Were not prepared to solo each side. Not sure how you would have gagged differently if you'd known it was going to just be the two of you but you might have taken more lure...less toonup, etc.

(2) Are not sf's. Did you communicate via another chat vehicle?
