You've got to make choices as a hollywood. When will people learn that? If you have a goal to make, you will try your hardest to get there. If your too blind to want help, then you (cold callers, ect.) have a right to scream, but not at everyone. Some people are nice, some people arn't. Sometimes, if I try to help a friend, they may ditch people in the elevator, and I have to follow, or else they'll leave me. I went through being a Cold Caller too, I know how it is. But I see from both sides, both have a right to yell, but neither has the right to yell at everyone.

I'm not that bothered who i go with to be honest. I've lost with two 100+ laffers on my side, because they didnt know what they were doing, and ive won with all laffers less than 70 on my side. It's just whether or not you can get every1 to cooperate. It's easy when you have 4 ppl who listen to each other, no matter what laff they are, because even level 4 pies can defeat level 11 lured cogs. Also with lower laffers, the vp seems to be slightly easier, with less high level cogs to defeat.

I have to agree I've just made it to a hollywood myself and altho I wouldnt really like a level 40 laffer in with me and the toons who dont bother to heal first but if you got some good gags your always welcome to VP with me when I can ppl.

p.s I have been in with only cold callers and have won in the past its not the suit its your gags that counts.

what level are you now zero? hollywood that is. we went in once that time and me and you won with just us 2 on one side. so any cold callers on our side wud just be a bonus. theres people who are cold callers level 1, that are better than me, in terms of gags and laff. I'm not looking at their suits most of the time. Its more their laff. Gags are not that important, although gd toon up is always helpful.

I'm a holly 43. well I understand your feelings, I was once a cold caller too, and the high cog suit toons just treat me badly, but things are different nowadays, cold callers are usually 30~50 laffers and we know that we can't win if we've got a bunch of them to fight vp, but 2 will be ok, if the others are either higher cog suit or high laffer. It's not easy to bring too much cold callers to vp, so, please understand why we do that sometimes. I understand when I am a high suit toon, and I trust that you will understand later.

Tips: If you are a high laffer, ppl will still let you go with them even u're a cold caller or sth. You can start off with your laff first

So, just don't care about wht high cog suit ppl treat you, just enjoy your play and have fun!

Most elevator shuffle happens when a group of toons ( who are secret friends) want to play together. they are two or three or more toons, and sometimes trying to get them all onto an elevator WITH each other can be difficult.

the rest of the elvator shuffle comes from toons who just love to shuffle. we call them griefers. they annoy everyone else, too.

so...don't be annoyed. come to the cold caller's guild. their success rate is 88%!

so it is not that a cold caller is in the elevator that prevents you from reaching hollywood50 level. what is stopping you is that you dont get on the elevator as much as you would like.

so , you have two choices. either just hop on and don't care who you are going with ( and this would feel a lot better with the cold callers guild! they are ORGANIZED! and try to have a few high laffers and high suits with every elevator), or try to organize your own groups, and then find a district that is not busy , so you dont get hangers on trying to shuffle off and on.

if you just go, what's the worst that can happen? you need to spend some jellybeans? go for it. it's just a game.

this is why some folks create uber toons. they are bored trying to level up to hollywood 50, and because their gags and laff are so high, there is no luck involved, just lots of repeating the same things over and over and over. rather than get bored doing 27 factory runs in a row, they would rather have the excitement of going sad once in awhile.

so maybe you dont want to be an uber toon, but still the chance of going sad once in awhile at least makes it exciting. so next time on the elvator, dont jump if there are 7 or 8 toons on the elevator. just stay and see what happens!!

I'm assuming you've been annoyed by higher toons with higher cog suits, because thats the only reason you would make such an ignorant post. Do you think we all feel this way? Never Judge a book by its cover, Never judge a Toon by their cog suit. Everyone above Cold caller knows what its like to be a cold caller, BECAUSE EVERY ONE OF THEM WAS A COLD CALLER. Get over it, People are rude, but People are also nice. Go with the ccg, or Get your toon to higher laff/gags. Many times people wont go with cold callers because of their laff and gags. Do you think 8 level 50 toons with low gags could beat the vp? NO WAY! You ARE over-reacting.. EDIT: Also, you think its hard for you? Imagine doing it on a 49 laff supernoob, where no one will check your gags!! My 49 laff supernoob is a glad hander 5 And has died over 20 times in the VP Due to rude toons, Getting ditched, Also it was so tough to get in. Your complaining and you're a telemarketer. You're only 65 laff! Most 65 laffers are cc1-5. There's no reason for you top be complaining here.

Level 8 Hollywood Still been helping alot of new friends at the mo but as soon as I get a chance I'll see you and anyone else who wants to join in VP and Good luck to all thoses that are on the way up it a tuff road and I've been ditched many a time on that elevator and it can be annoying but just remember theres always ALT+F4, lol

I wanted to add a couple of observations to this discussion.
1. Lots of cold callers jump off the elevator. I've even seen a Holly in the 30 range get stuck on the elevator after a bunch of cold callers and telemarketers jumped at the last second.
2. Sometimes people jump because a toon has no gags. I recently VPed with a low laff CC1 that had not restocked their throw or squirt, and only had a few trumpets. They went sad, as they sounded a lure.
3. Suits matter less then teamwork. As a Holly, I had an unsuccessful VP run that included two other Hollys and a Mingler. It didn't work because one of the Hollys never threw pies , because they were too busy asking for a toonup when they got below 85! The other Holly got below 70 and disco'ed. On the other hand, as a Mingler I went with a group of CCs and Telemarketers, and everybody worked together and beat the VP in just a few minutes. Your mileage may vary.
4. If you don't like the shuffle, do runs with the Cold Caller's Guild.
