I'm new to this forum and I must say... there have been some very interesting posts... this one caught my eye and I actually read every response.
I envy those who are hw50s... because they no longer have to worry about 5 story sell bot bldgs, whether they are worth the time and effort or not... and the painstaking factory runs.
I think it would be awesome to do an all hw50 vp, only because you have nothing to lose, no merits needed, after your win and if you lose... who cares... at least it was fun.
I'm a hw42 on my main toon, completely maxed, 113 laff, chose trap and I didn't get these laff points by being stupid or ignorant.
I have had some excellent advice from some awesome sf's... allow me to give them credit: Sir Ernie Dandyzilla 113 laff, hw50... and Big Wacko 113 laff hw39 soon to be 114, and my most favorite toon ever: Ned Dizzysmirk 104 laff and let me tell you all, whether they were maxed or not... hw or cc... they are the ones I would choose over any hw50 or rb50 to fight the vp and cfo.
However... I have to agree on one thing... when you go into fighting the vp and a small laff toon chooses sound on a lured cog, and everyone else is telling them no... don't you think, maybe that toon should listen? I mean, I don't mind dying, but let me die by my own failure or a difficult and ever so bouncy vp.
Also...it's not just the smaller toons that make these mistakes... it's high laffs that you wonder how in the world they got to this level...
Back to the hw50... I know this post was last year... however, when I reach that point... I'm up for an all hw50 vp party.
Did I go off the subject here? If so... oh well...

Thank you very much. Holly 50 is very hard to get to these days. These upgrades, or should I say downgrades have really made it ALOT harder. If you do work hard for it, you will get to HW 50. After that you can start collecting cards, and never worry about merits.

BTW: If someone is trying to make a holly clan, you dont need to bash them with not likeing noobs. I'am pretty tired of people wanting to start noob vs. high laffer threads all over.

Sometimes I'am not in a mood to go with nooobs, sometimes I'am, that dosent mean people have to be rude about it. It is someones decision to go with noobs/high laffers, that dosent mean somebody has to come up to them and tell him/her that they should like noobs.

I know a simple way to avoid these situations. You have the choice to go with these "small toons." If you don't enjoy going with small toons, DON'T! Its as simple as that....

Wasn't that the purpose of this post? To find a group of Holly 50s to do VP runs together?

I usually go "card shopping" with a group of 4+ sfs and we do one after another (which non-holly 50s can't do because they don't have a key) and we bail out before the battle starts if we get a bad SOS. I don't mind going into VP with strangers. Whether they're Hollywoods or Cold Callers doesn't matter to me. I've seen 50 laffers who play better than 100 laffers. Most of us have been stuck with that one bad toon who uses banana peels and bike horns on level 12s no matter how many times you tell them not to. That isn't too much fun, and that's probably why he wants to get a group of people to do VP runs with. Then he can have fun blasting through VPs and stock up on good SOS cards. Geez, no need to be so rude to him for it.

My Mood:
Maybe I have not read this post thouroughly enough, or maybe I just do not understand some of it, but I think what he/she is trying to do is get a group of Hollywood 50's to VP. I personally do not see any harm in it. Maybe he just thinks it would be cool to see 8 Hollywood 50's board and depart off of that VP elevator. Some of you who said you were not being nasty, kind of posted rudely. Saying that "Oh, you can't VP unless it's all Holly 50's?" isn't right. If he wants to do a group with all Holly 50's that is his choice, NO ONE needs to post it rudely. I know it didn't come out right, the way he typed that some do not know strategy, but those who are New to the VP, don't know how all of us Holly's use VP strategies. Maybe he doesn't want to go in with those who do not know the strategies. Personally buddy, I have no problem going in with any toons of low laff. This is because, as a Holly, I kind of feel *Invincible* in the VP. I am not worried about that 54 laffer who uses a throw on the left cog instead of the left, or that same guy who uses a small magnet while you use your maxxed lure. I'm not worried, because when we are over 100 laff, four rounds of hits from those cogs won't kill us. I mean, sure, it can get annoying when the Cold Callers do these things, but as a role model to them, we are supposed to show them how we work.

Well, enough of that. I'd be glad to join your Hollywood 50 group. You can PM if you want.

Anytime you post here

it seems like people try to attack you, and some people feel attacked for no reason at all, so why don't we all just step back. He wants a group of Maxxed guys, only, I am sure many feel like him. I just told him I not interested, I have 15 RB/HW friends for that kind of run. So Pm him if you like, and let's not start fights!!
K Where's my Slipper!!!
