Tips for toons!- Cashbot and sellbot HQ tips

First off, I would like to credit all the guides for being so great! This guide has some tips and tidbits that may help you out here and there. I did this all by myself so similar tips from different guides are purely coincidental. This doesnt need to be stickied unless the mods think it should.

Sellbot HQ!-

Newbie tip: The factory is where you gotta go first, do 10 runs and get your pieces then your merits then go into the doors the cogs come out of in the pit area. Make sure you are full laff and have full gag stock upon entering.

Advanced toon tip: Too many merits? No time for factories? Try a 5-story building in DDL! They give more merits and they have those higher level cogs you are normally deprived of! Go to a well populated district, there are many cogs so there are more buildings, and most toons concentrate on going to the cashbot HQ and miss the 5 story sellbot buildings.

Novice tip: When doing a string of VP's get some high level cog friends on each one, they will be of great help because they are normally better at pie throwing in the final VP battle.

VP Tip:There are 3 major roles a toon can play in the VP final battle.
1. Front Pie-er: These importent pie-ers are the bulk of the crew normally. If you are good at long range pie-ing this is for you. They hit the VP back and get him confused when he opens his hatch.
2. Back Stabber: These pro pie-ers are in the back making most of the confusion. Probaly the smallest of the groups, a group only needs 1 or 2 of these. If you are good at short range pie-ing and are a good pie-er than this is your job, but dont do it if there are already 2 people back there or you wont move the VP back far enough.
3. Healer: Overlooked in importence, these guys go around healing people who need toonup. Sometimes there are none of these in a group. When the VP is confused they will hit him...or at least should. But these are very importent people. They can save your rear sometimes. If your pies don't fly that true than you might wanna be a Healer. You might save lives.

VP cog battle1 tips: you might wanna stick to pies and luring for this one, and save those precious foghorns of yours. Keep the cogs lured, use a occasional trap and work together on the higher levels. Focus on a lv.12 if it comes out of the VP.

Vp cog battle2 tips: Foghorn time! Try to keep the foghorn power to a minimal if the cogs are lower leveled and use lure. Sound is most effective on groups of lv. 10-12's as you save alotta time. Use toonup as needed and see above the cog battle 1 tip to see the vp final battle roleplaying tip.

Throwing pies in the final battle: When you start the final battle you will need to jump up and touch the bottom of the captives cage to get pies. You should see a icon appear. Click and hold it. You wont be able to move so you should get into position according to your role before clicking the icon. Front Pie-ers should be a safe distance from the VP except at the beginning. When he open he gate aim a pie at it. Try different power amounts beforehand to see how much power you will need to get the pie in. When he is confused aim at his head. You probaly might need to move up a little or at least use full gauge. Back stabbers should follow that except you dont need a safe distance as his gear spin doesnt affect you. You can station yourself in back of him really close to his gate and when it opens pop a low power one right in!
Healers should go for hitting him when he is confused. Remember YOU CAN ONLY HIT HIM WHEN HE IS CONFUSED FROM THE FRONT!

Ill post the Cashbot HQ guide seperate and tomorrow.

Casbot HQ!-

Woah! Reality check! Now the real game is here. Cashbot HQ offers a mix of challanges and problems to solve.

Mints?Whats the deal?- Woah! Stop right there! Don't enter a mint expecting a cog suit piece, you wont get one. Those mints are for getting cogbucks, kinda like sellbot HQ merits...actually EXACTLY like them. So how to get pieces? Toontasks. You will need to do a series of toontasks that vary to get pieces. The choices are random so you can keep searching until you get some you like.

Cogsuit Tip- EGAD! You sure need a lot of cogbucks! Might not wanna go overboard though. Remember that Bullion Mints are the hardest and you probaly should be doing then for Bean Counter Lv8 and up you don't even need bullion mints for number cruncher levels 5-8. If your lower than that DON'T worry. Coin mints and Dollar Mints will do you for.

CFO The bad boy- This boys been hurting toons, time to finish him off. Way in the back of the train yard there is a giant door, enter to get to the CFO lobby. Make sure you are at full laff meter and have all your gags upon entering. Get a decent group of 8. 8 Short changes lv 1 is not a good group. Mix in some higher levels cogs so you have a balance.

CFO cog battle- When you enter the elevator you will meet Mata Hairy, a toon in disguise. The CFO will break your reunion short and Mata will run off to set a trap. When in the beginning go with lure. Sound is most efficent on groups of 11's or 12's sometimes 10's because it saves the most time. Use toon up as needed and WORK TOGETHER.

CFO battle- After both sides get their cogs down you will go into the final battle room. Mata will give a little bio on the cranes but its not informative on the little things that can make a BIG difference.

Tips for goon killers.-
1. Try to stick to 1/4 of the arena. smash goons near you. try to keep them away from the craner near you.
2. Save treasures if you dont need them.
3. If there is a big group of goonies, leave them alone and let them seperate, then disable them, because if they go down in a group, they will come back in a group.

Tips for craners.-
1. Don't throw a safe when hes not confused or there is no safe on his head, people get picky (and they should) about this ALL THE TIME
2. If you can't seem to get the hang of craning you have two choices.
1a. Try to use both hands while craning and be more focused and stay quiet. It makes a difference.
1b. If you like smashing goonies you might want to be a goon killer. It's a importent job!
3. If there arent any safes near you and the CFO has a safe on his head, grab a goon and keep the crane stationary and ready to hit the CFO when he loses his safe.
4. If you have too many safes around you and it's more than you can handle, throw them to people on either side of you. Watch out that you dont hit the CFO and give him a safe helmet though!

Stay tooned for more micellenous tips that might be posted!

Random tips for sellbot HQ.

1. Use the S.O.S. toons occasionly during combat in other places. sometimes it can save your rear.

2. Never ever EVER shuffle the elevator. It's rude and messes EVERYONE up.

3. For backstabbers: Whenever your on a dip in the landscape, try to focus more because your side is easier to put a pie into.

4. For healers: Occasionly look at everyones toon profile to see their laffpoints so you know who to heal.

5. For Front Pie-ers: Try to get a little closer to the VP when hes at the end of the final stretch. The back stabbers cant work so you'll need a little more firepower for the front.

6. For everyone: When you're low in laff say "I need a toon-up" Hopefully someone will come to your aid.

Cashbot micellenous tips posted later...does anyone like the tips?

Maybe its the way your wording it, but why would a good friend be a better pier than anyone else?

Cashbot misc. tips.

1. Never ever shuffle the elevators, it's rude and it messes everyone up.
2. For craners: Although its possible to use undisabled goons, use disabled ones still, unless you are moving the goonie away from you.
3. For goon killers: Goonie trouble? Losing too much laff and not enough treasures? No one listening when you say " I need more treasures?" you have to options.
1a. Use a toonup unite phrase!
2a. Stick near a disabled goon thats away from other goons, it will get up soon and when it does, redisable it and grab the treasure.
4. For everyone: Don't run into the CFO in the final battle. he might whjack you for 5 laff damage and everyones goons might fly over him because he drops down when you knock into him.
5. Too much shuffling? Going CRAZY?! About to BURST? Have friends room? Add a few of the cogs that you seem fitting to your list and take them aside to form a private group. Most of the time shuffling doesn't happen in private groups.
6. Too many cogbucks? Bullion mints too hard? Get some high laff friends and plow through the Bulions with sound power! (Note: if you don't have sound, tis tip doesn't help much, but it's ok not to have sound.)
7. Although it doesn't look like much, paying attention to the trains in the cashbot playground can save you a few laff and it doesn't waste much time.
