Fixing the Factory

Here's an idea that I just sent to the DISBOTS.

If you like it/or dislike it please make a noise so they might listen.

Can the side entrance to the factory be turned into an entrance to a more difficult version of the factory. This version of the factory could contain higher level cogs, have the sets of 3 replaced with sets of 4, and have a higher multiplier. The end result being a factory that produces between 600-700 merits if all the cogs are killed.

As the layout of the factory remains the same, many of the cog groups would be optional, meaning that mid level toons could still make successful runs. While toons that are after merits and tackle all the cogs.

I don't like doing 29 runs to be ready for promotion... do you?

Totally agree, make it like Cashbot HQ, 3 elevators if necessary, like Coin, Dollar, and Bullion...

The side entrance needs reconfiguring...that long run wasn't worth the time, in my opinion, up, down, up, down, Grrr! Also found toons would get lost along the way, too much confusion.

I hope they listen to you. I'm almost a holly and i dont want to have to get like 5500 merits and have to do a million facs. And that would make SBHQ more fun. Cause it has a difficult side and an easy side. Easy for parts. Difficult for merits!

yeah.. I miss the old factory, much harder.. I think it should still be easier then mint, but it should be THAT easy and it should give more merits.

If you read the Test fourm you will see that I and many others are trying to get Disney to listen. I have a pretty good dialog going with Regine but they still can't see past their own thoughts on the Merit system.

I completly agree..I have been running merits for a week now..at the same time trying to do other tasks and help other friends...the idea of the side entrance is great..I said the same thing but used distrcts for merits...i.e if you need merits runs there would be certain districts you could go to to get higher merits..kudoos to you on the idea..

Great Idea, I hope they listen because I'm getting higher in Sellbot suit levels (Mover & Shaker level 8) and right now I need 310 merits. It's getting a lot harder to get merits because of the lowering of cogs/merit getting and when I get to hollywood it would be hard to get merits. I hope they Agree on it

I totally agree.
It would be a great solution for both high laffers and lower laffers: One elevator for short run and less merits, and another for long run and more merits.

I got the typical thanks but we got it under control response from disney. They say the are constantly reviewing and rebalancing the game... I hope that means they are going to do something to give the factory, or some version of the factory more merits.

that's a REALLY good idea! i think disney should do that. i'm having trouble just getting the 1300 merits for move and shaker!

I like this idea...
The merit requirements aren't the real issue here, from what I'm hearing... instead it's the merit rewards from fighting sellbots which are the issue.

The SBHQ is way under-rewarding compared to CBHQ.
