Is it possible for a 52 laffer to beat the VP?

Im just wondering, My toon has 52 laff (And those toontasks right now are almost impossible) And Ive always been losing at the VP, The first time, everyone left me so I lost cause I was all alone, second time... I dont know what happneed, third time, we all just died off, forth time, 2 people ditch us, My side managed to live and defeat the first wave, everyone left, I decided to follow VP thinking it was the Pie throwing part... Big mistake, and fifth time, 6 people abandonded... and the last time I tried it, All the powerful cogs aimed most of there power at me when I barely hurt the cogs. Should I just continue the hard toontasks, or just try again at the VP?

Plus:
I have cake, Learning Lure, Hose, Bike horn, Bamboo stick, and the fourth drop.

It all depends on the group your in I didn't Vp until I was 55 and then it was hard to find a group who would stick it out eventially I did though (after many attempts) I keep doing my toontasks and as my lp's and gags grow more toons stay in the elevator good luck

Its possible because i just came out of the vp and there was a 54 laff toon who won and hardly got hurt(The highest gag she had was the creme pie)

I vp with a 25 lp toon. We win about 50% of the time. You just need the right people.

Hang in there, you will win soon.

well

if rabbit stu who is a 25 could make it to holly then it should be a lot easier for a 52 to beat 1 VP.(this is not an insult)

You might want to read the VP guide on this site.
It contains plenty of good advice.

A word of warning: If you think your tasks are hard, you may need a bit more practice (no offence); the VP is hard to beat, at least until you get the hang of it or a great group.

Good luck.

Its really not the LP. If you have a good group, then you can be in the 50s and have no problems in VP. But whats more important, is your gags. One of the reason the game gives you hard toontasks is because they want to build up your gags. So I'd say, make your gags better. Bike horn and learning lure is really not going to help your team in VP.

One thing you can do to help train gags, is to get a whole bunch of your baby gags, go to ttc and get a help a newbie for JB tasks. Then just use your baby gags just like you were 19LP while helping noobies. This will help build your gags faster without danger. Also make you some money. Not to mention you will be a celebrity in ttc.

52 LP with a good group and good gags is fine for VP. But if your just doing random groups with your current gags, you will have lots of problems.

What you also need is experiance. Because everyone knows how to battle cogs. Not everyone is good at the pie fight. Find a group with pretty good level suits. If you go in with all cold callers (I've tried before) you'd probably die.

If you don't have friends to help you, those tasks are very difficult to complete because it is hard to find random toons needing the same cogs/buildings that you do. I suggest you make friends with some toons who are working the same tasks.

In the meantime...a good place to find friends and get some meaningful game experience is in the VP. It seems there are always toons gathering to go fight the VP. The Cold Callers Guild makes daily runs to the VP and you find experienced toons to help you. Check out the times and districts and read the guildlines (no shuffling, pack on the elevator, etc.). Cold Callers Guild Schedule and Guidelines

Follow the lead of those with more experience than you..leave the bike horns and red magnets in the gag shop and come join the fun.

Currently we are doing some "noon" experiments...meeting Sillyham at Noon (eastern) 11:00 central for a run to the VP. Afterwards...those with Cashbot suits are heading over to fight the CFO.

As for possible? My black cat was a 35 laff CC3 with a creme pie and hose and not much else when she defeated the VP with a group of her friends, all with 50 laff or under. So, yes, of course it is possible to defeat the VP at your current laff.

Also, check out the Guilds section and check out the Cold Callers Guild. They are there to help toons like yourself defeat that first VP and learn the stratagies needed for successful runs. Also they have very strict rules about elevator shuffling and such which will help assure you do not get left alone. Good luck.

With the help of some very good high laff friends, Milky developed very quickly, from creation to LOM II (20 4story buildings) in 3 days. The goal was to create a toon with all 6 gag tracks but with as few laff as possible...a feat that is now impossible due to an update. At the time, 46 was as low as possible but, knowing how much I hate trolley games, I took one fishing laff on Milky. He only fishes in TTC and has 18 species.

Since his initial growth spurt, he's finished The Brrrgh tasks and is goofing off while the other toons play. I'm not sure if or when I will grow his laff. I like the challenge of playing a low-laff toon and his Glad Hander sellbot suit means I still have one toon with easy merits if I want to do the VP dance.

Often I am befriended in "drive by" friendings. As a general rule, I don't make friends with toons with whom I haven't played and if I do make friends (gotta get that message out of my face)...I often delete them later especially if I need to make room for people I know and am playing with regularly. Also, I prefer to make sf's with adults.

Sorry, I don't really remember your toon -- I have 6 here and another 8 on test so there are a lot of toons to remember -- but say "hi" when you see me, I'll try to do the same. I hope you are enjoying the game as much as I do.

Thanks, I do have friends to help with the toontasks, its just that Sometimes I have missions to defeat 10 level 8 cogs, and I thought maybe by defeating VP, I should be able ot easily finish that. Plus another Toontask telling me TO defeat a foreman, I have a full cog suit, so I want to get rid of the current suit to make the fight more useful.
