I quite concur. Two incidents really ticked me off.

1) I took my 105 LAFF 9999 all gag toon into the cashbot vault to meet the CFO for the first time. Someone there greets me and asks, "Is this your first time?" I of course say, "Yes." He replies, "I think this is too risky for you." Oh, really? Tell me, then, sir, when *will* I be ready? Don't just look at the Level 1 tag and assume I must not be ready, since everyone was Level 1 at one point or another. Look at what I bring before you open your yap.

2) I enter the Sellbot Lobby to see the VP, same toon, Mingler. There are seven others there, none of them Level 1. I then head into the elevator, expecting the rest to follow. Someone says, "Wait!" I don't know why, but I hop off. Two more toons, fairly high level. Now there are 10 toons. And they proceed to play elevator tag to get rid of the level 2/3 Cold Callers.

Give me an elevator full of Level 1 Cold Callers any day, especially now that it is a lot easier.

Well a 40 laff Lvl1 Cold Caller usually can't survive the VP. If there are already more than 8 people there then it's natural to want the higher toon to come.

I was going to VP as a 50-something laffer but I was told I was too little. I VPed again when I was 78 and I realized that it was good that I was refused back then.

Just because you have high laffs, DOESN'T mean you know it ALL! You learn something new everyday, that in itself means you don't know it all! Secondly, some people like going with newcomers, it makes it more of a challenge. Third, not all cogs do that much damage, it depends on the level of cog. Oh, and in order to be 'sad' you need to be -1 laffs, so if you are 80 and get hit by 4 cogs for 20 each, you still wouldn't be sad.

My i say something?

Well if there are toons that like a good challenge then why don't the newcomers just go with them?

Now i don't have anything against little toons.

But if your trying to get all the high laffers to go with the newcomers then that might be a bit hard (if you know what i mean)

And i don't have anything against you ether i'm just saying^^^

I'm off to see the WIZARD!!!

I'm not trying to get the high laff toons to take low laffers, I wish there was a way to get the newcomers and tollerant(sp?) high laff toons together. It would make it more pleasant for everyone, but it's hard to tell who is willing to and who isn't! I don't like being grouped together like they are trying to do here, that's all! I don't know it all, and I hopefully never will. It's fun to learn new aspects of the game, to me at least.

This is exactly what I mean by grouping toons together. I doubt you have had contact with all of the 110 laffers out there, yet you assume that all are bad because of the actions of a few. Please think before you do that, that aren't all like that! Also keep in mind whether they are going with friends or randoms, sometimes that is what the problem is!

I am really tired of lower toons complaining about higher toons. When you become high you will probably get annoyed with low toons. I love helping lower toons but still you dont have to complain. Plus if you guys want to go fight the vp then go with the CCG. They let lower toons vp. Plus C.F.O is not ment for lower toons. Lower toons cant get parts for that anyways. Some of my friends ditch low toons cause they already have ppl they are going with. I mean what is annoying about low toons is that they always have to go with higher toons! Most of the time i already have ppl i want to go with but lower toons just try to get in.

Even my SF's didn't want to "be held back by a noob". Let me tell you, that was one of the best factory runs I've EVER been on. They made it out with about all their Laff. It was JUST ME AND THE NOOB IN THERE. Yes I know theres a huge difference between the Bullion Mint and the Factory, but the fact is that I took the precious time needed to help show the little 30-40 Laffer (can't remember exact Laff now)the ropes, and even though it was a little bumpy along the way, we both made it out with flying colors. We worked TOGETHER and TOOK THE TIME needed to heal eachother and attack the Cogs as needed. They only had LVL2 Toon Up, too.
OOOOOOh Can I share a story too?
When my black kitty was littler, I think in her 30s, I was in Donald's dock in a quiet district doing some specific type cog, bean counters or some such, and there was this toon in his 20s standing in front of a building all alone. I asked him "would you like some help?" and he said yes, and since it was a 2 story building I knew we could do it alone, so I went in the elevator. He said, "let's find other toons", and I said "no problem, we can do this!" and we did. He was so excited, amazed that we pulled it off, and it was cool for me to see someone really having fun with the game. He asked to be my friend, and since I still had room and he had really made the building fun I said ok. Everytime he signed on after that, he would ask *me* what toontask I was working on, and if I needed help. He really knew very little about the game, and it was fun teaching him, and he was a fast learner. He never ceased to be amazed when he learned or saw new stuff. All of my friends that had multiple toons and so can sometimes be a little jaded had fun playing with him too.
Now, he is one of my closest friends on toontown. A great player who always tells everyone that he learned everything he knows from me. And I always have to tell them it's just because he is such a fast learner! He is as awesome in the VP as my friends who have been doing it for the entire time it has been out, and absolutely rocks in the CFO.
So yes, you never know what giving a "noob" a chance might bring about for the "noob" and you!
