No, I expect you to go WITH EXISTING FRIENDS. Just forget about the other Toons there, call three of your friends and gi in the Mint with them! If you can't get enough of them with you, tough luck. Just wait until you DO have enough friends to take on a full Mint, geez! I like NEVER Mint or Building without Secret Friends anymore. Oh, and to the time thing, I DON'T CARE. HAVE SOME PATIENCE. Geez the HQ JUST CAME OUT for pete's sake! I'm still a Glad Hander in Sellbot HQ, and I don't think I'll become much higher any time soon! And you know what? I DONT GIVE A HOOT 'BOUT IT EITHER. There's no rush here you know!

If it takes you four hours to do a Bullion, LIVE WITH IT. Noobs are going to go to Cashbot HQ to check it out, and in order to see it fully, they need help from Higher Laffers. They're still learning the game and don't yet understand it. You automatically ASUME that they already KNOW what ToonTasks are and they KNOW the different Cog types. Well newsflash, they DON'T. They DON'T know about any of that stuff. They DON'T know a LVL 3 Throw can't knock down a LVL10 Cog. They DON'T KNOW any of that stuff yet! You say their jerks when they just don't UNDERSTAND the game yet! Did you ever think that ToonTown is someone's only video game, and that their a COMPLETE noob to the ENTIRE genre of video gaming? What about people who don't normally play video games? All of this stuff is fresh outta the box for them! They DON'T KNOW all of the things you ASUME them to know.

As long as you have new players on ToonTown, you'll have people who don't understand the basics of the game. If they don't even know how to complete a ToonTask yet, how would they not know that Cashbot HQ is far dangerous for them? They DON'T. All of these obvious things are still brand new to noobs, they don't understand that Cog HQs are dangerous. I've even heard of people thinking that Cog Building elevators were TROLLY GAMES. (No offence to people that did ) They didn't know at the time, and once they went in, they learned from their mistakes and now make up part of the populus in ToonTown and on these forums. If people can mistake a Cog Building for a Trolly, why not mistake a Cog HQ as a PLAYGROUND?

Aside from all of this, the fact that their HUMAN should be enough for you to "hold your fire". They don't know whats going on, so they get sad in real life, so they retaliate with Stinky Phrases. If you'd just TAKE THE TIME to HELP them instead of HURT them, maybe they'd learn how dangerous it is. Who knows, you may end up seeing the same little noob you helped a few months later as a Robber Barron. And yes, to a degree, you ARE obligated to help the noobs. No, I'm not saying that you HAVE to go help them with every Task they ask for, but you SHOULD help to teach them about the game and show them the ropes if at all possible. Try helping them through instead of whining because you can't get a Mint as quickly.

A little story here. I had a "Help a 50- Laffer through a Factory" Task. I went OUT OF MY WAY to go help a little noob through the Factory, ALONE. Even my SF's didn't want to "be held back by a noob". Let me tell you, that was one of the best factory runs I've EVER been on. They made it out with about all their Laff. It was JUST ME AND THE NOOB IN THERE. Yes I know theres a huge difference between the Bullion Mint and the Factory, but the fact is that I took the precious time needed to help show the little 30-40 Laffer (can't remember exact Laff now)the ropes, and even though it was a little bumpy along the way, we both made it out with flying colors. We worked TOGETHER and TOOK THE TIME needed to heal eachother and attack the Cogs as needed. They only had LVL2 Toon Up, too.

So next time you see a noob somewhere, why not take some of your time out and HELP them instead of being selfish and trying to get through a Bullion Mint as quickly as possible? Sure, it may slow you down, but the result of knowing you helped someone out is far more rewarding then striving for that Robber Barron suit.

It's pretty dumb for anyone under 90 laff to go in any of the mints. You need decent gags and there aren't any cogs under lvl 10 in there.

I'm just really sick of people that purposely make the game miserable, low OR high laff. Grrr.

I have to click this cuz he's cute. :42:

This one too

I think that's it.
Dude, you get Cashbot HQ Tasks at 60+, not 90+.

They STILL do that in SHQ?
Wow.
I would go in with a 65 laffer, now that they downgraded SHQ...
Now, I am not suprised if people ditch you in CHQ, cause I KNOW, you don't work in DDL, sooooo.....
Even 112+ laffers die in the CFO.

I've said it once before, but it doesn't seems people actually read these post!!

You start tasks in dl at about 60 laffs, so that means toons with 60 or more are working on cashbot suit pieces, this means they are big enough to be in cash hq. The same type of thing determines sell hq, at 35 laff you have to get blueprints from sell hq.

"Yawn" "Yawn"

This is really getting to be a silly topic. I don't really understand why there are some out there that think it's very high laffers job to go help the 'poor little guys'.

I have quiet a few 'babies' I'm training on my accounts. If I spent as much time chasing 'high' laffers as some of these babies do, I wouldn't get much done.

I think folks need to just go play and stop worring about what that high laffer is doing over there s/f'ing with his friends. And if a little guy won't go away, then go somewhere else. I find that if one of you go into a lobby near the 'target' building and then have your friends tp away, the little guy will leave VERY shortly after. All you need do is walk out of the building, have your buds tp back to you and you can be on your way.

There are lots of fun ways, NOT mean ways, to dump the little guys. It's a game people, learn to get around it.

Try this one especially if you have 2 accounts. log off one of your bigger toons and tp back with one of your babbies. Then log off the other and tp back with another baby. He'll run away fast when he's looking at a 5 story with nothing but a pair of 15 laffers to help him.

The concept of this is about the high laffers always ditching the elevator. Just think of it: if one toon goes out the rest panics and gets off as well. then you have the part where I'm not including noobs in here. Also I think it's just wrong to be judging a toon by thier rankings. I mean c'mon there are bound to be over 50 toons who wheres just a cold callers suit.

I never ditch, Evade is a much better word I would use. If there is someoe that won't take no for an answer, and I have seen big toons I won't go with too not just little toons.

I know we had a little 15 laffer dog that didn't seem fearful of that 4 story (Or was it 5?, can't remember)cash building in Dreamland. My non s/f, me and my 54 laffer got him all the way to the next to the last floor. But one missed birthday cake later, he was outta there like a home run hit in Wriggley park. We did use a lot of resources to keep him going and it was fairly tight for the final floor. Had I been with any other toons, I might not have gone with the little toon.

I just tp to another district and look for a better crowd to go with.

hi everyone......
I completely understand the high laffers point of view. My kids are low laffs and my son just doesnt understand that he has no business doing the HQ's
until he finishes his tasks and gets higher laff and gags, thats what the tasks are for, to get u rrdy for the HQ. so please , stick to the neighborhood you are currently working and u will get to hq in no time at all......

J.C. is only 87 laff points and he goes through the Mint all the time. It is no problem for him. As a matter of fact, J.C. has high laff toons asking him to help them. It must be something about that 9999 Lure gag!

And, I have to say that I agree with Red [and others] to an extent. It is like this. Somebody is helping low laff toons because I now see toons trying to go fight the VP with only 27 laff points! Biggenpoof is working on his Hollywood 14 [5 extra laff points] and there is no way I'm going into any factory with a toon with only 27 laff points. That would be pointless. One hit alone can cost a toon 24 points. Two times in a row and it's back to the playground for that one.

Red:
I feel your pain. Been there done that. We try to get through the factory as quickly as possible and along comes a toon who wants to build up his/her experience using trap, or squirt, or whatever. I know...when the squirt gun comes out...I'm like....."Oh boy! Here we go again!" Especially with drop! We just bear it and try to get through it as quickly as possible...it's a drag...I know...

Backing up on what red said about why newbs are so annoying. This toon has been pestering me the whole factory telling me to follow him. I keep saying no thank you, this way. But he sais No. This way.

Same thing happened to me. It was strange though, because he had no business going into all the battles. He still needed parts had no cog tasks. He didn't even come during the Foreman battle, so we defeated the factory without him. All that trouble and he didn't get ANY credit.

Ok that's why it was on Disney channel, so i guess your right Disney is for adults (yea rite). It also has censors- very adultly. Now the way I see it, is a family game. O yea, the parental controls are for the adults sakes (give me a break). This was a kid's game and then turned into a family game. I find it rude that kid's are "allowed" to play under supervision.

But I'm a teenager so i guess i don't fall in that catagory.

I bet if you looked for adult online games- you will find them a WHOLE lot different than toontown. This is Disney- Disney is about family and kids.
