I got far on the VP... until

I was in the VP, 2 people ditch us, and then when it was the start, the other side ended up losing, but My side was doing well, we beat the first part, I thought it was pie throwing time, The other 2 left by Stichter book... I was wondering why, I followed the VP, and then I figured I shouldnt of did that... Pics here

I always go with people, but I have ended up being the only toon left when its time for pies, I have only beat him once at that stage by myself, others got sad, but he was already half way down.
