Yeah? So? Depending on their suit, I might do the same. You obviously haven't been with strangers in the CFO much. It is SUPER HARD. There is no way I would go in with a 85....and strangers. It would be a different story, if I was with a bunch of sfs who I KNOW are good.

All I gotta say is bawk bawk bawk bawk lol. If they tell me it is too risky they are just chicken. But yes going in with ppl you know, SF's or not, is always a good idea, although not requitred in this game

![]() Sad that people would tell an 85 Laffer that it's too risky. I give it two weeks before one of our two SHQ snobs decide to make a thread about how "1337" they are, and how anyone with less then 110 laff in $HQ is going to go sad.

![]() But, going with friends [who you know are good] insures your win. Going with strangers is taking a HUGE risk. |

Hehe, on TEST my 79 laffer was the last toon standing several times in the CFO
battle, and I'd be in there for a good 10-20 minutes trying my pullback strategy. Of course we didn't have the cog-fight precursor that we have on Open, but that's not foreign territory for any toon 85 laff and above. "This is too risky for you" is here to stay as long as there are toons who are untrusting of other's abilities and need only one reason to express such distrust. Hang in there! |

Going with friends - no matter how good - does NOT ensure your win. Several of my friends who made RB on test and are almost there on open, still go sad occasionally - it happens to the best of us. And if you lose, so what? You lose nothing except the time it took. Personally I would just as soon go with strangers, as long as there is no shuffle!

Instead of judging them for their suit and laffs, I would check their gags. A toon with very high gags is a toon that probably has a lot of experience. Most experienced toons I have met understand the need to build strong gags and not just high laffs. I have seen 105's and up carrying only level 6 squirt and throw and very low levels of everything else. I was astonished one day to see a 109 laffer with level 4 toon up and sound and a level 3 lure. What in the world have they been doing? Definitely not developing their gags. I've seen quite a few of those 102 and ups like that around lately. THEY are the ones who are too risky to go with. Here you look at their laffs, hmm, a 106, they must be good and then in the heat of battle you find out they only carry a megaphone for a toon up. What a shocker.

People, let's not forget that nothing is lost from losing a VP/CFO battle. 80 beans? 3 minutes in the playground? Just a pittance for the thrill of trying to beat the VP/CFO with only non-secret phrases and differing play styles. I would not be playing TT after 3 years if it was a single-player game or a LAN-type game.
Most of the people on this thread seem to be saying the same thing, so I'll get back to work now.

85 laff too risky?
If they have the suit and the bux they are entitled to go in there. Nobody is saying you HAVE to go in the vator with them...
Lets face it...The cog battle round in CFO isn't really any harder than SB VP cog/skel rounds. The main reason for the 100+ laff is more of a "cushion" for the CFO battle itself. I am on test and was CFO'ing in my 60's. It is a bit harder to stay alive in the CFO battle without having the extra laff "cushion", but it sure can be done. I very rarely respond to threads like this, because there is NO SOLUTION. There will always be toons that think anyone with less laff than what they themselves "require" as being suitable laff, will no doubt cause a stir, say the risky's, or shuffle the vator. It happened in SBVP and will continue to happen in the CFO. So unfortunately....gonna have to just deal with it. Sad but true.

LOL! You have to be kidding me. What a peice of carp! Technically, when you enter Dreamland and finish your parts, you can CFO. That could be.. what? 65+ or something? And obviously you haven't been in with too many strangers. It seems to me that the quote "low" laffers (65-99) are much more easier to CFO with rather than some idiot 100+ who thinks they're some god. Uh-huh. They're the ones droppin' like flies in CFO. Just because all your "friends" are 100+, doesn't mean you're going to win. You could have complete carp craners and stompers. That equals sad toons. Hmkay! And why do all those toons think they just became RB's over night? Helllooooo!! EVERYONE STARTS OUT AS A SHORTCHANGE LEVEL 1!!! So, you've all been there once! Some..more than that if you can't win! So, what the heck! Just because someone doesn't have a high suit doesn't make them a worse player than you. Hate to say it, but some people actually have lives. Oooh... I know. A life? What's that? There's a world outside of TT? Yikes! I don't care what your darned laffpoints are when I get onto the elevator. If you took the time to get 12 parts and merits, you're good to go in my eyes. We all know how hard mints can be at times. And don't give me that "Ooh, they're easy." Blah blah blah. High laffers - in CFO and even VP- just need to get a grip. Seriously.. I don't know if you all noticed. But, we play a game called TOONTOWN.. made by Disney. Uh-huh.. Let's leave the anger for PvP games. Yooowza! C'est la fin. Edit- can't believe some of words you people filter. :Sigh: |

See, I go with almost the same group everytime. I'm only sfs with 2 people out of like 15 people. Who ever is ready out of those 15, gets to CFO that run. I occasionly have to call a friend of mine....which usually 'causes whining *cough* CBD! *cough* before getting in the CFO....but we still win. Once we're in, it's smooth sailing. XD

The people who you go in with is your choice. Although some people become real jerks about this whole thing. Thinking they own the CFO because their cog suit is tall! What the heck do people care if your tall? Well, in this world everyone thinks your the best. But some people have common sense. Like me.

Heh, I cant tell you how many times ive heard "You were once a noob!". Of course, when it happened to me, I just left and trained my toon some more. Once I felt ready to be "worthy" of goin with the people who deserved it, I went, and they WANTED me to come because when I came back I was 105 laff with maxxed gags. Anyways, I guess my point is... Dont only get to DDL so you can CFO, get to as good as you feel needed to go
