Good Grief!!!!

I went into a CFO today with my friends and everything was going really well. After the cog battle the sayings went up. Don't Throw a safe now!! It will become his helmet. Which is fine but what really got my ears red was when i was on a crane hitting the cfo with goonies and as I usually do when he has been hit quite bit I get a safe ready to hit him when he is stunned. I was holding the safe (not swinging it) and this toon whispers NO!!! are you new here? I can see if i was swinging it maybe that toon should get worried. Well as it turns out the next goonie stunned him and i was ready to do damage. My Point is that I think that toons should stop with the paranoia and watch what the toon is doing before you go and whisper. Yes I know exactly what Im doing and I have been told many times that I'm good on the crane. I also understand that there are toons out there that do not know what they are doing and you can see that right away into the game.

I am really good at safes, so I do the same thing. What burns me is the people got in the ele. with a RB and then try to teach them. To clarify that, RB's don't tell other RB's, how to fight, most often. Only levels 1-4 do this.

Good with safes

I'm good with the safes as well. How about the ones who stand there in front of you yelling "I need practice with the crane." Then watch you get hit with goonies/gears just waiting for their chance to take your crane. Then go and put a safe on his head. "LOOK MA, I DONE GOOD!!!" If you want practice then go with your friends and practice.

I was so mad tonight!!! I'm a Baron 19 and I was on the crane. I picked up a safe to move it away from the CFO and get a disabled goon when a toon that's only a Penny Pincher comes up to me and says, "Don't throw a safe now!" "You Stink"
I was so shocked, I had it on the magnet for all of two seconds and she started in on me. It takes all kinds out there.
It's a game people, enjoy it and have fun!!!! Oh and try not to tell a Baron not to throw a safe LOL

The things people do, it is bad enough to tell a whole bigger suit how to play. I just can't beleive, instead of letting the big guy win for you, they still fight over the cranes. I'm going to say this once, Barons don't tell other Barons how to play, and if your smart, you won't tell others also, unless they ask for your help.

I'm a Penny Pincher lvl 5, and I was operating the crane. A Short Change lvl 1 doing the goons, but kept "You Stink!"-ing me because he wanted to work the crane. He kept letting me get hit by the goons. When he got his chance, the first thing he did was put a safe on the CFO's head.

Let's put this to rest

There is nothing special about the cranes, stomping is equal in the win or lose of the team. If you really want to win, it might be wise to let the big guy do the cranes, only because he has some background in doing it. Stompers really save the fight alot, it is hard to hit anything when being knocked around. The whole appeal of the cranes will wear off, when you have done it, so many times.

I am really good at stomping goons. When I normally go, I pick a toon who is working a crane and I defend him/her. At the end when we dance, a lot of the times I get told "Please disable the goons" and then "You rock!" So, it just goes to show some people are better than others at stomping or the crane or whatever.

If you wanna let the big guys do the cranes, then how the heck do you think the "big guys" learned to be good on the crane? Huh? Never judge a book by it's cover. I went in the CFO with an 85 laff short change level one. They did excellent work on that crane, and nobody was complainin'

The point everyone misses

is this, Alot of people want to go with big suits, there is some reason he has the suit, and I think he must be good at both stomping and cranes. The whole attitude I will only crane or stomp does not help the team, it is in the best odds for the strongest proven guy to work the hardest, for the team. Any level can do both as well, with strangers you go with the odds to win.

I never said big guys should do the cranes, I stated they have had more time on them, and might be better at it.

So many times I've wished I could drop a safe on a toon! I've gone sad more times than I can count - all due to toons not having a clue what they're doing in there.... doing nothing but running around collecting treasures (not helping protect the craners) and putting safes on his head... and most recently won (with only 6 toons) because a couple of the craners were experts and finished off the cfo before the tough goons even came out. Take a guess which group I'd rather go with? I've found cfo just isn't much fun for me on open... too hard to communicate with other toons.

I totally agree with you. I made my suit stomping, however I can manage the crane if need be. I normally go with 7 of my SFs so we can communicate and plan the strategy. However, I have gone many many times with randoms , from SC to sharks, won some lost some.

I remember one fight (which we won) where the other 3 stompers, all 100+ would run around and take all the treasures once they dropped 5 laff or so. I on the other hand concentrated on one craner, shielding him from any damages. I went down to 33 laff at one point. At the end of the fight, the 4 craners and I were left .. so the moral of this is even if you run around stealing treasures, you can still go sad.

Don't be selfish and work as a team - you will reap the benefits

Good Post!

The only time I am concern is when a Short Changer 1 is on a crane and I see them pick up a safe when we first start the CFO. I do have to say that when CFO first came out I would yell at other toons, but now that it has been out for a while, I have stoped saying Nooo! to toons. I TOTALY agree never assume what level a toon is. I have died with Loan sharks cause nobody wanted to do the CRANES---LOL.
