From what I remember, it seemed as though we had the same sizes as the usual battle. It really helped to keep the smaller cogs around and take out the big ones first. When faced with a row of four cogs, all Level 4 or lower, Master Chip and I were a little befuddled at first, then blasted them away and started with a fresh row. I do remember plenty of 10, 11 and 12s in the battle. I wish I had thought to take a shot of my gags after the battle to see how many I actually used.

Thanks to all of you for your comments - I would love to try this again with some of my favorite Toony friends.

Curious, did you all think you got less/lower value cogs then what would come out for a typical 8 toon battle? If that is the case, we could all do 4 toon teams on a regular basis.

Alot of us have done a foursome on test but I beleive the entire cog round was significantely down sized.(wasn't there about 8 cogs at that time) I think doing a foursome with the amount of cogs and 1 without lure is AMAZING to say the least. I think they did great, I would love to have been there.

<feels all warm and fuzzy>

I'd be willing to bet that most of the posters on this thread could swing a 4-some in there, no sweat.

You guys gave us some valuable info...that you can work one side with two crane operators and two stompers without too many goons crossing over from one side to the other.
Way to go guys, I didn't think it was do-able!
Yesterday my hubby went thru and it got a bit out of hand when the red goons started coming out. They lost four toons so one stayed on the crane and three stomped to keep him on that darn crane Lol, and they did it!
Without that info from your run, my husband would have given up when we heard 4 go sad.

Fantastic! I'm so glad they stuck to it!

I tell ya there is WAY less chaos in there with fewer toons. Craning on the same side also helps because you can see what your other craner is doing. We did great loading up safes if the other had a goon so we could time the goon, safe, safe, safe...(until he stops seeing stars) sequence.

I think this piece of advice/strategy needs to be in the strategy posts. Far too many times I see the things end up in chaos when teaming up and staying together on one side is the answer. But you need everyone to be on the same page so to speak.

I too have been in a 4 toon CFO and made it!!! I was told that the goonies don't come out as fast with four toons but I didn't notice, I was busy. The cogs were the same as far as I'm concerned.

Angie's Hunny Bunny, Momma's Pup and Queen Petunia Dizzydorf are great players. I had a blast with them!!!

Hey Sally,

I'm so glad your husband stuck with it to the victory - that's awesome.

I did run over to the other side once or twice to stomp a couple of goons, but it was when none were on our side and I thought I could line up a couple of extra toon ups if they were needed.

Solid - way to go, glad you guys made it too!

I say have fun - worst that happens is we have to buy a bag full of gags and get tooned up before we can try again! I'd rather go sad trying than abandon the fight....

That is exactly what I said LB.
I said that beating the CFO himself (just that part of the run) is not that hard, BUT that taking out all those cogs WAS impressive given that one was not maxed and the other was without lure and they were together.

They can be as modest as they like, but it is an impressive feat none the less. Sure many of us COULD do it, but they actually DID do it.
