CFO Problems?

Has anyone else had any problems with cfo latelly. I have went from short change all the way to a money bags lvl 9 without losing a CFO fight. I never played on test. Now all of the sudden it seems as though everyone has gone stupid. 2 times today I lost. Anf both of these losses was with penny pinchers or higher. So they have some experiance. What is the deal?

I myself like to operate a crane but if I cannot get to one ( which does happen) I will stomp and protect.(As I should) The problem is that some people will resort to standing right beside you saying you stink because they want to operate the crane and will even go as far to let the goons hit you. then take your crane. All the while proceding to throw safes on the cfo when he is not stunned. I try to tell them don't throw a safe now. Throw a safe now. All i can do but it stilllllll seems that some are so self centered about this issue that it does not matter. I litterally had to shutof my computer today and just step away. I was so furious about the play of some toons. Yes, it is a little overboard for me to feel this way, But i am here for the fun of the game. I may not get to do what i want all of the time but I am ok with that. I will stomp goons and protect a crane operator. I will try to teach those who do not know how to defeat the CFO.

I guess all I am saying here is to have a little respect for the other toons. Don't go frantic if you see some red hat goons. If everyone stays calm and sticks to their job of crane or stomper and not go off on a tangent of scrambling for tu because there are red hat goons. I know people are doing this becaue in my 2 losses today I would have to evade goons myself and I would try to get into a collection of people to use a toon-up unite phrase. 1 for 80 pts and the other a max toon-up. Wouldn't you know it. I use a TU phrase and the group i am around when i use this get like 20-30 laff out of it. and they are scrambling like chickens with their heads cut off.

This is not rocket science people. It is a kids game desingned to promote teamwork. Hense, the CFO battle. If you cannot play as part of a team and be willing to listen to the advise of others, or play your part of protection/ crane operator. Then stay the heck out.

Will i go back to the CFO tomorrow? Yes. Will I win? Possibly. Will i rant if I get the same results? Yes.

By the way, If anyone is tired of this like myself. please post. I would like to start a organised group for CFO battles. Only have 2 rules. Being able to except the role of stomper if the cranes are taken and being willing to accept advise of others in the event that you may not know how to fight the CFO.

sure i'll join... i won my first cfo battle so i went again and lost twice because people wanted the cranes... i won two straight after that because people were very generous. and i love the crane and im pretty good at it but ill take out goons if i cant get to one...

thanks for the reply. once I can get about 4-5 more i will try to organise something. I usually have about 2-3 sf's online that can go as well. Again thanks. I look foward to have some people in a group that have a common goal of winning and not operating the crane.

I do agree with you whole heartedly. I just posted a reply to another thread re: the same exact frustrations. Somehow along the way, the fun of playing a game relying on team efforts, has been destroyed by selfishness. The fact that some people will risk not only going sad themselves but contributing to the entire team going sad just for the opportunity to operate a crane is just pathetic if not redundant.

I may be the only one, but I am a dedicated stomper lol. I will operate crane if need arises, however I do prefer to stomp. Add me to the list

I totally feel for you. I have gone through the same stuff. Again, I am a dedicated stomper who will protect the craner behind me. I've seen too many toons running around and leaving their "post" unattended, thus the craner gets stunned.

I've also seen where a 100 + toon is a few laff points under and will take a 12 laff treasure just to bring them up by 2 - 3 points while others are below 70 or 60. I can see picking up treasures while stomping if they lay around.

Anyhow, I started CFO a week ago and have managed to make it to Shark 11.

Trust me i have had the same experience..maybe worse.I came on today hoping to get at least 2 cfos in,I got my suit the night b4 n won 2 battles without no problem.I come on today n went through 7 cfo battles always ending up with me alt-f4'ing out.I dont know what happened to people they must've just went duhhhhhhhhh :smiley25: overnight.So ill join group.Pm me for anything I need to do to join the group.
