Skipping cogs in Bullion???

If you have a task to defeat bullion mints, you could say that BEFORE boarding the elevator. Then others needing bucks would know your intentions. By stating your intentions beforehand it'll cut down on the problem of having a mixed group of those who want to skip cogs and those who don't, at least we can hope it will. I also know of a few people who are using their need for bucks to see how many you can get on each floor, if you skip cogs it's not going to be an accurate number.

I repeat over and over "Lets go fight the Cogs" and "I need to defeat some cogs"...and then get "OK" responses, but they STILL skip cogs...turning it into a <30 cog run.

Does anyone else find this HIGHLY annoying or is it just me? I mean, why go for the long mint run if you are going to skip battles???

try going with people who will do all the cogs with you and maby them just want to get it over with because of there tasks like the 30 cog mints or w/e

When I go in the mint I try to go with what everyone wants. Sometimes not all of the toons can bypass things and I would never leave them to fight alone. I also try to have at least one friend with me so I wont be left. I frequently end up fighting extra cogs to help toons finish tasks (i.e Loan Shark tasks, or cog merits). I figure if the toons I'm with can't work together I'll just leave and start over again.

I don't think players are aware of the amount of Cog Bucks they are costing people like Snick. Most of the toons skipping battles in there don't need big Cog bucks yet and they will be the ones posting that they need bucks and PPL are messing up their runs.

If you run with one of my groups we do skip the middle cogs in the Pipe room but we go back to get them so we get higher Cog bucks. So fret not Snick you will get your bucks with us

I'm glad to hear you wouldn't leave toons behind. I have a new PC running and I can't always force lag for some of the "bypass cog" glitches. I had a group pass a battle the other day...and just stood there while I fought alone.

bullion is designed for it to b tougher and hav more cogs. bye skipping them u r defeating the purpose. and some toons need lotz of bucks and it isnt fair if u keep skipping the cogs.

I pretty much am a benevolent toon and will try and figure out the needs of the other toons before I decide what I am doing. If I am going to bail it will either be because I am doing a loner run, I am not confident we will live to see the end, or the power went out at my house. I don't think it's nice to leave toons stranded at all. Now, that being said, there are some of us who get in groups for the express purpose of searching for holes. We usually go in a group by ourselves and take on noone else. We can spend hours in there exploring the mint or sell factory. We enjoy this but I would never impose this on anyone else. It takes alot of patience and a person who loves exploring. Fortunately, for me, I have found a couple of friends who like to do this. Maby they should create an explorers group or one with your friends so you don't strand other toons. As for skipping, if someone says "I need more merits" or "I need to defeat some cogs" that is my cue you wish to kill them all. I just then utalize the holes for the stomper and the jumping obstacle course in the mint and wait for the players. I don't use holes unless others can use the holes.

i have skiped cogs for one reason; not enoff gags to do it i mean yea there is refile but some times you dont get the gags you need and if you fight them cogs you might die; another reason is to get more bucks when you come back, I went in with this toon i was telling him i need bucks he said follow me, dont worry, Well he was going to skip some cogs, ones i never skiped well i didnt follow him and i found out at the end he was a rb and he knew what he was doing we proble would have got like 1800 bucks are so. I know alot of rbs that know how to get this much i can only get like 1500. So if you dont want people passing cogs go with friends.
