Selfish Toons Stealing Cranes

I have seen several times that toons who aren't on a crane let the goons go by and hit the person using the crane. That is crazy. It usually resolts in a loss because thats what they are constantly doing. And that makes less goons being disabled. I never knew people were so desprit to use a crane. It's hard to get on a roll when someone lets the goon go by and keep hitting you. You will get a chance to use a crane just keep doing yor job.

That usually happends to me lol i usually just stamp goons for them though but sometimes I do get really angry at them if they have done it before and know its stupid to do it.

What really bugs me, is when someone comes, stills your crane and yells "You stink!" when you "steal" it back.

Teams do not steal

Look at it this way, it's you guys against the CFO, you need to use all the resources equally to survive, you must all stomp/crane if needed, and you don't fight about the next play.

Exactly what kalan said.

While we're at it, cranes can't be "stolen". There is no sign option, and there's a reason you get knocked off it when you take damage.

I use that term "steal" to describe the taking over without permission, which I know is not required. It doesn't bother me that they take it, when they do I just leave try to find another one while knocking out some goons, what bothers me though, is people who call out "You stink!" because you take the crane they were using before they "stole" it.

Erm, I didn't realize that the best way to counter act rudeness is to be just as rude back.

Don't yell at those who sink so low if you plan on sinking to their level.

I have NEVER lost a battle with Crazy on the crane....not even close. If you are a party crasher and "Crazy Popcorn Jumblequack" is on the crane.....do all of us a favor and go stomp some goons.

I have seen this happen. Usually one of two reasons for it.

1) Exactly what you are saying: the toon in question thinks that somehow they belong on crane and it's just a matter of survival of the fittest for who belongs there

or

2) The person on crane is throwing safes at an unstunned CFO and the other team members either by discussing it or by otherwise agreeing realize they aren't going to win with this person on crane, so they better get this person off crane pronto.

Number 2 is the only valid reason, and should only be used if speedchat phrases are ignored such as, dont throw it now, throw it now, throw a goon now, etc. Just hope everyone realizes that while using these phrases and watching whether someone is doing it right, someone still needs to be stomping them goons or the goons can't be thrown. (heehee).

I have seen this happen bfor. Sometimes the toon gets off and says "I need practe operating the crane." Other times they stay on there until their laff gets low and then they run around getting treasures.

Kehawin,
I have seen it plenty before. A lot of short changes especially will do it as they just want to do the crane because it is new. They don't realize that standing there doing nothing while they wait for someone to get knocked off a crane increases the likelihood the run will fail. The whole fight is set up to increase in difficulty over time, so time wasted at the beginning fighting over cranes is a real problem. The real issue is not so much that they let you get knocked off the crane, but more that they are making no positive contribution to the battle during that time. Of course if they get on the crane and throw safes, they are not making a positive contribution either.

On a slightly different topic.....last night a self important toon was whining at a couple of us whenever we picked up safes to reposition them. Yelling "don't throw a safe now", even after we had finished the CFO off and were back in the PG. A little knowlegde can be a dangerous thing.

LOL

What a sad state of affairs.

A couple nights ago the CFO had a helmet on. I was on a run with a group of randoms who of course laid claim to crane. As far as I can remember, most were penny pincher or lower with the exception of a cruncher. When the CFO had a helmet, I stepped into his tires. He sat down. His helmet stayed on. So when he stood up I stepped into his tire again. His helmet stayed on. So again. Still no safes were being thrown. When I stepped into him the third time, several toons yelled "Watch out!" Nice to know so many were watching out for me.

Well, when we were sad back at the pg, guess who got told they stunk? You guessed it... me. Guess I stink because I was supposed to somehow wave the magic wand and make it better?
