Hee Hee - I didn't say it made sense - it doesn't! I find it strange that they would give us the huge merits/bucks to do 'after' we promote. It makes sense to me now why LFF's merits didn't change from 5500 at HW30 - knew I should have done those merits. Oh well.

As for bonus bucks - I think that's their cute way of saying that once we finish the mint/factory and are dancing they will multiply our total.

I really wonder how many of the people creating/changing this game actually play it for any length of time.

My friend and I just defeated the CFO and he is now a RB 15 needs 8900 bucks. I am a RB 19 and only need 2120? How can that be right?

Yes I have seen the bonus bucks......LOL....but they are hidden in the math.

Here look at this:

Floor 6 Bullion Mint

Base Cog Value = 246
Multiplier Value = 3
Bonus Value = 20

246 X 3 = 738 + 20 = 758

It's there but you have to look for it. I think 20 extra bucks is cheep but it's all we are going to get!

I had to get 8900 merits for LVL 11 & Up Robber Baron, I think this was a bug. whatever it was, it wasnt any fun!

Hey Popcorn,
I emailed toontown and they said that was right, for every LVL you get a Boost you have to do the 8900, but that doesnt explain why I had to do the 8900 so many times for RB.

Ok, so we can all quit going up to the safe and shouting "Toons of the world Unite", or trying to open it because there ain't noth'n there!!! And we can all quit going to fight the end cogs in the Mint Pipe room first cuz you gonna get the same amount no matter!

And 20 extra is mighty stingy. But, consider the sellbot factory where it now takes 3x longer to collect the max requirements and there are NO!!! none...nada bonuses!

Everyone had to do 8900 over and over for the RB levels before the most recent update. The April 5th update changed the amount of bucks you now earn for each level.

Adjusted the new Merits/Cogbucks reward fix to correct a problem with the merit requirements to advance beyond level 12 Cogs.

A new addition to the Player's Guide will detail this change in the future.

And Lizbeth reported: I don't know what the adjustment was, but last night I needed 1520 merits and I was full and ready for vp. Tonight I have 1520 merits and need 1730. This is for level 25 MH.

I think what this means is they've set the merits back so that max amounts will be needed at the laff turns, i.e. 14, 19, 29, 39, and 49. My best guess is they've removed entirely the need for merits at level 12 and HOPEFULLY level 50!!!

I wonder if you move your toon up thru the current system to say lvl 30...when the update hits instead of needing 5500 merits you will only need 890.
