Please don't just stand there!!!

It is frustrating to be on the crane and notice that you still have your original eight, but that only you and another toon are working a crane. If you're not going to work a crane, then please protect the Crane-ops. You can't win the CFO battle just by keeping your laff up.
In the ten battles that I've won so far, the toons are usually all wanting to work the crane. In 3 of those battles, no Crane-op got hit and the red-hat goons hadn't even started coming out.
If you're confused about what to do, then take this advice:

1. Stay in your Zone close to the Crane-op.

2. Never let a goon hit your Crane-op. I will jump into the light just to stall the goon so that someone can jump on it.

3. If your Crane-op is hit, then work the crane for a few seconds so that he can boost his laff (Just don't throw a safe until you know the situation in which to throw it- i.e. When a safe is on the CFO's head, or when stars are spinning around his head. Even then- it is still better for a beginning Crane-op to throw goons.)

4.Look for other Crane-ops that need help. This usually presents itself in the form of too many goons for the Goon-stompers to handle.

5.Always return to your Zone. Your Zone is your Homebase of Operations.

6.Try not to panic. When it starts getting hectic, you know that the end is near.

I know this advice has been presented before, but it is much needed to be repeated.

I couldn't agree more Zanie. It gets so incredibly tiring to see numerous toons just standing beside a crane op just waiting to be able to work the crane. I can understand and appreciate the want to work the crane, but standing there idle and not helping the team is just rude. Protect your crane ops YES! Stand behind them and hope to not get hit..pfft!

That's crazy to be doing the bored emotion while in CFO! I know when I've gotten low in lp, I have a hard time finding the menu to get to a tu unite phrase in the cfo.

Once, when there was just 3 toons left in CFO, I had one of them try to be my friend!!! That shocked me! Needless to say, we all went sad because at least one team member was more concerned about making friends than fighting the CFO! LOL!

My 2 cents

The only part I don't totally agree with zanie on is staying in the zone forever, especially if you went in with random toons. If you have good crane operators who can control the red goons, or better, beat the CFO before they come out, then by all means stay in your zone. However, I've seen too many stompers die because the red goons overwhelmed 1 area and the stompers didn't move out and got caught by multiple 24+ hits. Trying to stomp red goons in an overwhelmed area and dying does nothing to help the team. Run away and protect the crane operators who are doing a good job, but be ready to move back when the crane operators can control your original area.
