I went on a VP run the other night with a few hundred laffers but most of the people were aruond 75 laff. Well, during the first battle, we did ok until a bunch of lvl 12 laffers tripped us. We were all really low. One person disconnected which made the battle even harder.
Eventually, we got to the second battle after a good toon up and things looked like we were winning. Everybody survived the battle and we moved on to the pie throw with everybody healthy.
The pie throw was a disaster! We actually had gotten the VP to the edge. Then, he just started jumping and jumping! Two toons went sad and it was down to four last toons. One was jumping around whining for a toon up. We got annoyed and kept trying to fight the VP. She went sad eventually. It was down to three toons: Me-Pearl Megadoodle, Trixie, and Christy. We fuoght for what seemed like forever. Many times I considered disconnecting because it seem like we didn't stand a chance. The VP just kept jumping back. I tried to go on his side and throw pies. He threw cog gears a me a lot instead of jumping. (Luckily I was good at dodging) Christy did an excellent job getting the VP stunned while Trixie healed us and hit the VP in the head when he was stunned. It took forever but after a looooong while of pie throwing, all three of us danced.
It just goes to show that you should never give up.
