V.P. impossible

Every time I go fight the v.p. I never win, even when it's down-graded.
When the v.p. was on the white plat-form, he jumped and jumped and jumped all the way back to the top, half of the team (they were 90+ laffers) left sad. Very bad for me cuz my computer is very slow when it comes to the pie throw, so I don't know when to jump. Or is it something that happens to everyone in the pie throw? And, I have a task, "Rescue 2 toons in sellbot HQ."
"0 of 2 rescued" If sbhq is 'Down-graded' then shouldn't they change the amount of damg he does when he jumps? That's the only problem for me.

Im not sure if I spelled 'Graded' right.

Maybe you are just out of luck./.. you should g owith me sometime i neep a V.P. also. whenever i go i dont ussually die becaus ei make sure i go with friends that i know if you wanna havea a go sometime PM me kk

I had the same problem that I posted in another thread... I'm sure some will ask what you are doing wrong but don't worry, some are in the same boat as you, me included.... the problem is the vp won't stun the way he should. Very frustrating... good luck

I noticed that when the VP can't use his attacks to hurt a toon up close, he will resort to jumping to attack everyone until a toon is close enough for him to attack.

I have trouble with lagging a lot of the time. When my laff points get low, I stop throwing pies and just jump and hope for the best. I think that the VP lags more when there are a lot of people playing Toontown.

Oi, well that's a plan for disaster! The lag works both ways, just because you don't see the hits doesn't mean they aren't happening...I can see you just wanting to stay alive but if you can help then the team has basically lost you and if you aren't the only one doing that you can't win.

Yeah...the VP is kinda harder in a way. The only reason the VP jumps, though, is so he can reach the toons that aren't close to him. So, if none of the toons that went in a close to him, he's going to jump non-stop.

Two comments:

Yes he will jump alot if he can't throw gears at a toon. Try standing just close enough so he can throw gears at you, but where if you step back a little your out of the gear range. when he throws step back, then step forward again. Or if your closer mover left to right instead of forward and back and he'll never hit you. With the gear spray (not the gear throwing) you have to move back or to the side.

If you only have 256 mb of memory in your computer or a low end graphics card you will also get a lag effect in the pie fight that is not from the Disney server. Try to upgrade to at least 512 MB of RAM if you can. Close all other programs including the web browser that opens with Toontown when your playing. If your playing toontown in a window try playing it fullscreen.
