Most people who are trying to do their toontasks can do them in a fac or building no prob. but 70+ laffers who have rescue 2 toons or defeat 2 VPs, that's a different story...

Man, those tasks are asking for trouble. And those asking you to help a 50 or less laff to do VP is... well, I'll censor that word!

Here is a photo of one of my little toons. Please check my signature for the names of all my other toons with their stats. Wendy is now a Hollywood 37 on her way to becoming a 50 (if a new HQ doesn't come out first). I have also included links to VP's where many of my friends have taken their little toons into vp on a regular basis. These links are with all lower laff players exclusively. What makes you think you can make a statement like this, and speak for all multiple toon players?

I hear what people are saying about being disappointed by ill-prepared noobies wanting to fight VP. There is not much I can say here that I haven't said many times before. It's not about laff points, but about teamwork. I think when you do get multiple toons of your own, and realize how easy the VP really is to beat; you will see how baseless your fears really are.

Personally I love taking a whole load of newer toons in to VP. The challenges are in trying to use the tools Disney provided and teach them a little something about strategy. Disney gave us the new speed chat for a reason. I think most new toons get it when you say "Don't sound on lured cogs," or "You should choose a different gag," or "Let's all go for the same cog." Using these tools helps a lot. If you really are a skilled player, why not try to pass on some of what you know to the newer toons. You can do this in VP and in the factory, as well as in buildings. Shoot even if I lose due to uncoordinated play from my teammates, I figure that maybe I have taught them something, or they have learned something from the experience. It takes time and practice to master VP. If we can all help lower laff toons once in awhile or try to teach them a little it will help everyone in the long run and make VPing and playing together much more fun.

WooooHoooo Salty... TY.......

Now.... many good points have been made here.... so I state my next point and ask my next question.....

I have a toon friend that is a 67... she is very helpful and knows what gags to use and which ones to use/not to use in certain situations. She waits.. and watches.. then based on what the other toons use/go for... she will choose her gag/cog. She runs with me through the factory and 5 story buildings in DDL all the time. I trust her... and I know she can make it through a VP ... she has before.. we have even gone into the factory/ buildings with out any other toons to help.

I took her into a VP for a second run, but while waiting for the elevator a High laffer told her "I think this is too risKy for you". I said NO.. then i turned to her and said "Lets go fight the VP" They wanted me to go (106 LP's and almost maxxed on all) but not her.

SOOOO, if you are waiting to do a VP run.. and the one person that would make up the 8 is a low LP... Would you still refuse to enter the elevator with that toon after saying too risky... if a High LP toon said NO, indicating they know that Low LP can make it through and play a good game?

I've gotten sad in VP two times.

Reason = Noobs messing up our gag plans in VP.

Once, I was trying to be nice by letting a noob come to a VP run, and that noob used us! He didn't attack, I know he was there because he kept demanding us what gag to use! How selfish, using high laffers.. @@

Helloooooooooooo Trix...... ya say i wont understand until Im a high laffer... hmmmmmm I kinda consider 106 LP's a high laffer, Dont you? I started this thread AS A HIGH LAFFER TIRED OF HIGH LAFFERS BEING INCONSIDERATE AND UNHELPFUL TO LOW LAFFERS.

Wink

I am new to the forums here. But I had to stop and read this one. I joined TT in September and fought the VP for the first time at 56, and lived through it. I just went last week with 96 and came out with 90. I think its all about the knowledge of knowing when to jump, and keeping your eye on the VP's motions. I think a toon with under 50 can do it, if they know what to look for. I dont look at their laugh points, I try to look at their level of cog disguises, however, I wouldnt deny a smaller toon the right to fight the VP. 7 toons had to give me a fair chance. A smart toon is a safe toon. It all goes on teamwork and the ability to play as one.

Talking

I did a vp run tonight with 3 other 100+ toons and 1 under 90, 1 under 80, 1 at 65 lp, and 1 at 58. ALL off us made it through the VP...ALL OF US. They werent Uber Toons either.... just average on gags.

Hmmmm go figure.... like I said... it has everything to do with TEAM WORK.

ok

i know some 100+that do not go in the vp with lower lvls but not all. I am 106 and almost 107 and I do go in the vp with lower lvl's but I can never get the other higher lvl's to come in with me and the lower lvl's. It just mean, but they need to recall when they were lower lvl's and wanted higher lvls to help them out in the VP.I just want to say not all 100+ are like that.

I love going with newer toons too. Especially when they all get to the pie fight, some know what they are doing, some have no clue, but, you can teach them by saying things like "Jump." when the Vp jumps or saying congrats on a stun with a "Nice shot!"
