Sorry, but I cant say i agree with these statements. MY thoughts are that if you have 3 or 4 100+ laff toons (even with no ubers) and you cant beat the vp, it's because you didnt work well together. For example: look at ccg victories. Anyone who has a suit can go in to ccg, and they RARELY have no one make it past the vp. SO keep an open mind. Through teamwork the vp is easy.

exactly, low laffers aren't expierenced enough to be doing the VP, they ruin things and put you at risk. You never see somebody that has multiple toons and has expierence do the VP with a one of their low laff toons...

well they should learn by all the people telling them it's too risky and telling them to go away, but they do not listen!

That's not the biggest worry. A noob messing up the gag plans in the first two rounds can be annoying, but is normally correctable. Okay, sometimes that noob gets hit by four sets of 24's from Skelecog L12's and is history... correction, normally gets hammerred by those cogs but when they don't know how to do the third round, then you're in trouble.

It's fine if you've got 8 60LP or 8 100+LP - if nobody knows to gum up the works, then you're there all day with no end in site!

I went into a VP about 2 months ago with 3 toons who had 55-65 laff points. One of them just got sound, and he used the bike horn everytime! Even when I lured. I had 2 of them on my team on the first part (the normal cogs) and they all died really fast. We died on the first round. The VP is not a place for bike horns. Besides, people will let in 70+laff toons. Maybe even 60+.

You can ask anyone I know, I get sooo nervous around low laffers. I also hate when a 55 laffer would come in with up to a hose and a whole cream and like the bike horn and feather...I say "I think this is too risky for you. You need more Laff Points. Maybe some other time. Have a nice day!" I did 4 VPs yesterday ( ) and I did fine since there werent many CCs around...wonder why....As for helping lower level toons, I just say I told you so...I do help but you know what, Me and my SFs/Friends come before and newbie...

i'm 63 laff and I'M SICK OF THIS! the only reason i'm not vping right now is cuz i'm always getting "This is too risky for you" when they dont even see that i have advance gags! my friend had a friend who had a friend who was a level 2 cold caller and he was only SLIGHTLY higher laff than me, guess what he said... "I think this is too risky for you." and then he went off. so its not only higher laffs that do this ya know but still.. CUT IT OUT!

Being a L18 Hollywood, I've experienced all types - the good players, the bad players, the lazy players and the talented players. I'll jump onto an elevator with anyone. My only requisite is that I go in with 8 (although I have done 6 and 7 before now).

Yes, I've lost a few, but when I do lose, it's only a few parts which is not too bad with a helper and the side entrance. But I've seen it all before...

The toon who insists on practicing their Level 1 Gags (sound and drop are common), particularly on a L12 cog. Man, that's just nuts. Or with the googles out for the L12, the last toon brings out the red magnets (ARRRGH!!!)

Bottom line, it's just a bunch of 1's and 0's on a monitor. It's fun, it's crazy' it's frustrating, it's... it's... it's just a game. Live with it, stay on the elevator, and just try your best.

PS - If you're really worried about the parts or merits, call me - I need merits all the time!
