OK, I might be wrong but I will say it anyway.
your quote "he jumps 10 times and we're dead" leads me to believe you are not jumping. When he jumps you need to time your jump so you are in the air when he lands. If I am wrong and you are jumping... my apologies |

no hun your right, we're(me and flappy) not jumping. i guess we haven't mastered that yet lol. next time tho i'll be propared lol. If I have to die a few more times to get the timing down right i guess ic an live with that, I'll just make sure ppl can help. i went in one time and asked for a toon up and someone straight out said to me "No." I was kinda hurt. I make it my darnest to try and help EVERY toon in tt when walking the streets if someone yells help. unless i'm really busy of course. but some ppl are just coldhearted i guess. Thanx so much for the info guys. You have been a really big help

We'll my advice is next time providing your're not short staffed, spend the whole session perfecting the jump, by watching vp, and listening for the sound he makes when hes going to jump.
Ok you get viewed as not trying if you're not throwing pies at VP, but hey better that then being sad and not there. And once you feel comfortable, u may be ready to go in help before session is over. So, don't worry about comments u may get. As u are doing this to be better helper next time and there's no where else to practice. There's two skills u must master:- (1) Pie throwing, getting angles right. (2) Jumping. Well as 1st won't make u go sad, i'll start with 2nd and trying to master both at once is a unproductive way of doing it. 'Keep it Kool '

Pat attention to whats going on
I wish I could count the number of VP runs that were unsuccessful because of people hitting each other with pies instead of fighting the VP. The real problem is if 2 people are tooning up 2 toons, half the group isn't paying attention to the VP. The best way to stay alive is to keep stunning him. The worst thing you can do is bother the wrong person, or person's for a toonup. LEAVE THE EXPERIENCED STUNNERS ALONE!What they are doing is more important than giving you a toonup! You are better off learning to jump and aim your pies for the next time you face the VP than running around asking for a toonup and learning nothing. HQMaster |
