Fighting the VP with a good team is a blast! But the elevator drama -- not so much fun!
I suppose I wish that toons with less than 60 LP couldn't even get in . . . they're just not going to make it (with very few exceptions) and asking them not to try is, well . . . merciful!
The VP game is fun, just wish the elevator drama would end!

If everyone wasn't going out of their way to ditch the <60 laffers, the elevator issues wouldn't even be an issue.
We have Seven 100-108laff toons with all maxed gags. We also have a 59laffer with 6 maxed gags. So I have a little knowledge of the game.
The problem isn't the <60 laffers!!!! The problem is the thousands of super under developed 100+ laffers who think they know it all.
Winning with <60 laffers should be easy for anyone who knows and understands the game. It actually make the battle much more interesting for me. I get zero satisfaction from winning with a crew of fully developed toons. Keeping the little guys alive is where I've always got my satisfaction.
The next time you get stuck, and for some reason can't alt f4 in time. Ask yourself if jumping on and off all those times to avoid a <60 laffer was worth it. There isn't much of a difference (gag wise) these days between a 60 and 100 laffer. Unless of course you count the last (usually well underdeveloped) gag track that the player picked up after the LOMII.
