SOS Cards Why they miss!
When the sos cards first came out I was soloing the factory on a long run, and used a stinky ned 3 star lure in the final room. I had killed all the cogs in the whole factory and was now in the center silo. The lure worked, but only held the cogs for that 1 round, and they stepped back on my next turn and I went sad from the accumulated damage throught the factory. If it would have held longer I would have won, and I became curious. I often wondered if there was a reason why the same card worked better for other toons ( holding the lure longer ) until now.
The past few days I have used 2 franz neckvein 4 star drops, and 1 5 star barnicle bessie, and all 3 missed completly. Looking at the configurations of the toon I was using stated earlier, and this toon which used the drops, in each case they don't have that particular gag track. The toon in the first example has no lure, and the other one has no drop.
It has been my experience that when you use a sos card and don't have the gag track associated with it, it either misses ( except for trap and toonup which are 100%) or it does not perform as well as if you had that gag and experience using it.
