Hopping off at the wrong time..
Hi everybody.
I've tried thrice to get into the VP elevator, however none of them a successful attempt because of there are toons who suddenly hop off of the elevator at the last second, leaving my toon and a few others left going up. I would like to reach out to fellow gamers out there not to hop off the VP elevator at the last second, because when we go up there and fight the VP, we really don't stand a chance. I haven't got a chance to fight the VP yet till now. Hope to find some toons to play with. Thanx! =) |

The Alt-F4 is a very good advice for you, if you get stuck on elevator and you want off. This will close your window and log you off, then log right back in, and you will be in COG PG with all parts and merit intact. You can just run back into the lobby and try again.
But best advice is to find toons you like playing with, make friends with them, then go to a quiet district and just call your friends, and maybe their friends. Get 8 together and go for it. That way there is no elevator shuffle. |

Toons jump off because there is someone on the elevator they don't want to play with. Usually this is a low or mid laff toon. Unless you're playing with the CCG, don't try the VP until you have at least 80 laff. Click on the players around you (especially Level 1 Cold Callers) and see if any are quite low. Try not to get on with those in the first place. This sounds harsh on the mid laffers but you just want to get your foot on the ladder so to speak. Once you have more experience and know what to expect you can judge who you want to get on with better. But for your first few goes I think you should play it safe.

What has happened to me twice is when you have a loaded elevator with several seconds left.....everyone it seems is staying on. Then when the timer hits 0 and the doors are closing....players jump off. To me these are usually not players leaving because there's a toon on the elevator they don't want to play with....these are toons who for the most part just like to cause problems. That's when the alt-F4 is very useful. |

I know many people just jump off, i hate that!
