Way back when
Sellbot headquarters came out, my big toon was only a 67 laffer. Even when I got to 80 laffs, I was looked at as being risky with high laffers. So toons ARE starting to really relax about taking lower laffers. Back when the thing first came out, there would have been NO WAY you would have made it through the factory let alone to the vp.
I went sad a lot during the pie battle because I just didn't have enough laff points. I went back to my toon tasks and finally reached 105. Now the pie fight is a piece of cake. The hard part is getting through the cog rounds with lower laffers. Many of them don't understand the idea of using their gags sparingly. You don't need to use an elephant trunk on 3 level 1's and a mr. hollywood. By the time you get to the skelecog round, they are down to bugels. Last night we had round after round of level 11 and 12 cogs. It's those rounds when it comes in handy having well developed toons with you. I have been in the vp battle where we had all level 1's and maybe an occassional level 12. That was funny. We all just stood there amazed. But I don't get that very often. And I would like to know why toons are so nasty about high laffers anyway? So what if we don't choose to go onto elevators with you? Are you guys jealous? Most of us that have big toons have been playing for quite a while and we have learned to look out for certain things from smaller toons. There are certain characteristics from other toons that make me avoid them like a plague. I had 2 middies on the elevator to the factory yesterday. I looked at their gags and figured they could make it. Because the other high laffer jumped off, I guess they decided they wouldn't do the factory. They dumped me in the first room. Later on, those same toons asked me to get on the elevator with them in the vp room. Are they crazy or just have short memories?

I don't see your point
Quote:
Thats so funny! So you have level 3 toonup which is almost useless in the VP. Not a single level 6 gag, level 5 squirt and throw. The only reason you made it as far as you did was because you were carried on the shoulders of some high laffers plain and simple. Then when you were on your own to stay alive you couldn't. Don't blame your computer freezing for going sad that 1 jump is only 10 points not 44. I am also sick and tired of the attacks on High laffers as if we owe you a living. Regardless of how well you may think you can play, you cant take a single round hit from high cogs if a lure misses. Stop complaining about the high laffers your jealous of and get back to doing your tasks. The streets are empty anyway should be a piece of cake. fancyfrank 111 laff / all gags maxed / no lure / Mr. Hollywood level 50 fabulous frank 106 laff / all gags maxed / no trap / Mr. Hollywood level 12 |

it's not always the low laffers
it's not always the low laffers. for me it's about what kind of gags they have. I mean like how many and what kind, I wouldn't go in with 4 toons who didn't have toonup...or with toons who only had level 4 pies lol

Why do so many high laffers get bothered when someone says something bad about them. I have 7 high laffers, and 2 50ish laffers. I'll be the first one to call 75% of the high laffers PUNKS. Most of those punks have not even earned the right (gag wise) to even call themselves high laffers. With 7 high laffers myself, I can understand every single problem that the lower level toons have. I've been in there shoes more than most. At the end of the day, your either a punk, or your not.
Anytime you want to see any of these punks, just start, or play one of your lowere laff toons. Within 10 minutes you'll run accross a few.

I understand
I understand somewhat because I have 2 toons stuck in the Brrgh doing LOM things and 2 in Minnie Melodyland (they will be stuck in the Brrgh soon).
I have been harrassed, both as a low, mid and high laffer. Mean toons come in all shapes and sizes. That's the only thing I am saying. I have had some really nice toons try to help my 66 laffer and all my lower laff toons. I am on my final gag track training in the Brrgh and have been working for almost 2 weeks straight trying to get a Robber Baron. Anyone that has helped Loopy Henny Henlopen can know how many Cash bot buildings they have help me do not to find that darned spoon for the LOM. Other mid laffers have treated Henny really mean because I don't have sound yet. They don't take into consideration that I have level 6 throw/squirt, level 5 trap/lure/toon up. I have had toons actually NOT toon me up in battle and told me that I stunk because I couldn't sound. I have done the factory run numerous time for jelly beans. When I start getting tired of trying get that Baron, I go over and do a factory run. I have yet have a high laffer mistreat Henny. I think they only take me so they can use their traps. That's ok with me.

My only problem is with high laffers who elevator-dance when there is one 50+ laffer in the party.
These toons waste hours of my time and the time of other toons. I'll take a 50+ laffer who is prepared to risk going sad (rather than a 100+ laffer who isn't) any day of the week. It's all a question of what you want to get out of TT. If you want to try to get a reasonable gaming experience that's fine by me. If you want to get to level 50 Holly by the safest possible route and be in no danger of going sad along the way, that's also fine, until you cause others to suffer. The only way to deal with cowardly high laffers is to change server and hope some others who play the way you do come along. Or join a guild.
